http://www.wowhead.com/talent#fbxcoZhZebfbhGzdVzAfRt:iArmcVcamo can be swapped for master of sub.
Camo is one of the best talents in the Sub tree, rogues rely on stealth too much for it to be skipped over, and losing mobility makes you a sitting duck in so many ways.
I said, CAN, I don't recommend it though.

For starters does anyone know of a tested subtlety PvP spec? Or shall I just guess at it?
If you want to go full shadowdance, look up Reckful on the armory. I find full shadowdance a hard spec in general and even harder in the chaotic battleground environment though, so you'll probably want to do a shadowdance spec. I currently have a shadowdance spec for BGs because it's a lot of fun, although I recognize and admit it's not the most potent spec in the game.
I like this spec as a starter:
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#fhtboeMZZe0fbhMddAzVcoYou have 5 floater points, plus 1-2 floaters that you may want to take out of Master of Subtlety or possibly heightened senses or imp ambush (if you find you don't use ambush much). Those floaters can go in a variety of places: Cold Blood, Quick Recovery, Initiative, Opportunity, Cheat Death, Waylay, or Filthy Tricks.
Some rogues don't take full camo and some don't take full (or at all) fleet footed, but I find that the mobility is invaluable in battlegrounds. Being able to get to FF is one of the reasons I prefer a shadowstep build for casual BG fun in lieu of a full shadowdance.
What do I gem? I have talents that boost my AGI. and that boost my AP.
Gem full AP. ArPen is a remote possibility if you also have some good endgame PVE arpen gear to throw in the mix.
Ghostly Strike? Useless or Useful?
Somewhat useful, but not worth the talent point in an already bloated tree.
Is there a way to make a macro that will Backstab someone if I'm behind them and if I'm not it will cast Hemorrhage? Like a use this first macro?
No. In my experience, you won't have the opportunity to use Backstab very much in BGs. It's too chaotic and most of the time if you manage to get the right positioning you'll be in stealth.
Glyphs: Glyph of Vigor, Glyph of Shadow Dance, and Glyph of what
Obviously not SD if you go with the shortened shadowstep build. Sprint, Eviscerate, and Hemo are all good choices. Ambush is a possibility as well if you have an Ambush heavy build.
How do I maximize Shadow Dance? Should I do a cheap shot followed by 2 ambushes? Or just go with 3 ambushes?
Although I don't have a SD build as I understand it the CS/Ambush/Ambush is most common. Of course this is situational though.
Should I get Waylay or just use Crippling Poison?
You can use both depending on the circumstance. You may find that you just don't have enough points to get Waylay -- the sub tree is very bloated. I personally have an ambush heavy build right now and take it. Waylay will get you a quick, guaranteed snare and the attack speed reduction, but you may still want crippled for when you aren't ambushing. You can always keep a crippled dagger and switch it in after an ambush.
Also, what are my poisons? Deadly/Wound? or Crippling/Wound?
I run with either wound/wound or wound/crippling. Instant isn't worth it without Imp. Poisons. Deadly applies slowly too, but with a fast dagger it can be situationally useful (for example, keeping other rogues from restealthing).
What should my offhand be? Dagger or Sword/Mace/Axe? Speeds of the weapons I should be aiming for?
I usually wind up with a fast dagger but that's because it's easy to move over from my muti spec. Fast is preferable for crip (or deadly should you choose to use it) poison. Otherwise you can pretty much use anything.

My spec
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#fhxfoZZcbfbhGddAzAfRt:jakmcVTested in both arena and bg and it works excellently. Would Relentless Strikes be nice to have? Absolutely but i'm not pulling the points out of Initiative or hightened senses or Master of Subtlety or cheat death for it... Energy return is good for spamming. Spamming is bad for Subtlety.
I've got around 700 resilience and just a little over 5k attack power. I gem for attack power as you have armor ignore on tap with bleeds. Paladin are hard to kill but i find that you can force them defensive quick and make them bubble. Be prudent in your use of cooldowns and try to outwit the vanish bug for a return assault on them after bubble is gone and you'll do fine with bleeds.
Glyphs of Vigor, Cloak of Shadows and Eviscerate until you have 4p Gladiator bonus. Stacking above 120 energy is a waste. once you have 4p go swap Vigor for Garrote.
Weapon advice has been accurate so far with the exception of crip poison. Don't be dependent on crippling poison for your snare. USE waylay as it's more reliable and non removable by most classes. Not to mention if they're running from you, Backstab will be available easily. The added damage from wound/wound is nice too although somewhat puny.
Backstab cannot be macroed into hemo as you will just be spamming it and hemo costs less so you'll hemo anyway. You have to get good at being behind them. Dance around L2MOUSETURN. You'll find that once they're de-buffed with your initial assault (premed>garrote>hemo>Rupture) they'll be in a much more defensive mode and you'll be able to relax with your energy usage a little bit. This is exactly when you should be pooling energy. If they let you dance around them and get backstabs off then do so. If not pool energy up for a shadow dance and REALLY let them have it. (ShadowDance> cheapshot>Ambush>Eviscerate>garrote>Cheapshot) this sets them up plenty and in addition to your original assault you've officially got them at full defensive mode. Best plan for shadow dance is to keep them set up and pool energy BEFORE you blow the cooldown. That leaves you plenty for cheap shot ambush evis garrote.
Talents like Camo and Hightened senses seem useless because they don't increase damage but bear in mind this spec puts Stealth at the absolute top of your weapons list. The only thing that can see me before i can see it is a human with the exact same enchants/spec as myself. Perhaps a Nightelf would also slip by but they wouldn't see me either. It's worth the talent points IMO to ensure that you are the one to get the initial attack.
You really just have to pay attention to the classes you're fighting. IE: will they blink? can they bubble? Is evasion bad? Will I get snared? Alting a lot will help you with mechanics for any fight.
