in comparison to the Alliance quest which is just back and fourth in northern bloodmyst isles. Alliance side takes you from Bloodmyst to Azuremyst to Ashenvale, fighting against level 23-26 mobs to get the item you need, then back again heh.

Horde Shaman totem quests.
That is all.
This a million times over. I'm leveling a Shaman at the moment, and I just finished the Water Totem questline. I hope Blizzard fired whoever designed that nightmare of a questline.
Start at your class trainer.
Go to a bluff off of Ratchet.
Go a hidden hut in the southern Barrens near the Field of Giants.
Go get water from a spring below that hut.
Go to Hillsbrad Foothills and get water from a well over there.
Go back to the obscure hut.
Go to an obscure fountain in the middle of a lake in Ashenvale.
Go back to the hut.
Go to Tirisfal Glades and fight a the
Minor
Water Elemental you've spent all of this time preparing to summon.
Go back to the hut.
Go back the bluff off of Ratchet and get your Totem after you've travelled around the world 3 times over. x.X

:( What's wrong with tirisfal > silverpine > Hillbrad ?
Gets no love and I take almost all my charactors that way. (only cause it's the only way I know :) )

That is all.
Allie ones aren't much better.
Earth, Wind and Fire I agree. Earth is ezmode Wind is abit of a trek compared to alliance (Org to 1k needles as compared to Exodar to the hill it crashed into) Fire requires hopping back and fourth between Barrens and Durotar compared to just azuremyst. But the real drag is the Water totem quests for horde. From Southern Barrens (Far from a flight master) to Ashenvale, Hilsbrad and Silverpine. (Thats back and fourth between southern barrens and there respectively) in comparison to the Alliance quest which is just back and fourth in northern bloodmyst isles.
Not to say that either are hard but for the sake of my sanity I refuse to redo the water totem quest on horde side until cata. Using the RaF port and a hearthstone to shorten the tip my RaF partner still spent almost 2 hours just running from zone to zone (This was in ghost wolf, I'd assume mounts would make this more bareable)
Just out of curiosity, does any of you guys have a warlock and did the Demons quest , especially the Succubi and the Doomgard ?

There to soft and loveie dovey for whers prepared ahead of you as a player, for zones like plaguelands, hellfire, and all other hardened zones. Yup, fluffy bunny zones... with the Defias running rampart across Westfall, seeing the corruption and disease spreading across Darkshore, the Blackrock orc attacks in Redridge, the screaming undead of Duskwood, the attacks of the Blood Elves and handling the leftovers of the Exodar crash in Bloodmyst, and the rampaging troggs and ogres of Loch Modan.
oh get over it Adams they said 'starting zones' That includes Elywnn forst, Teldrassil, Azuremyst and dun morogh. Same with Durotar, mulgore, tirisfal glades and eversong woods.

They also mentioned the Barrens and Silverpine in the OP...hmm...

Basically if you are troll or orc you do durotar -> barrens -> ashenvale or stonetalon -> thousand needles. Of course you can walk all the way to tirisfal glades but the zones designed for you to level in are as I stated.
Tauren do pretty much the same thing, just a few quests in mulgore first, but mulgore is just a greener barrens, hardly exciting variety.
Blood elves do have one of the best zones to start in, going through ghostlands is great. And then they converge with undead who have probably the strictest path of leveling. As undead you do tirisfal -> selpulcher zone -> hillsbrad. There is no deviation from that unless you travel to kalimdor.
Actually, the OP pretty clearly describes the leveling path, not just the starting zone.

Eh, Tauren feels the need to make it seem like the Horde are always better then the Alliance no matter where he posts so... yeah, whatever. Let him think how he wants, and continue his pointless quest to prove he and his are superior to the Alliance 'white hats' as he sees them.

you know you might sometimes play horde but your not a horde player, anymore then I once leveled an alliance toon but I'm not an alliance player. I defend my faction like a football fan defends his team, and sometimes opposing teams will flame, rip on, make fun of or even act like there surperior to the other side, and honestly, your just as much accused of that as I can be.

Superior* Beyond that... there's defending, and then there's your posts.... which is two different things. But hey, whatever, keep up with the cheap shots on the Alliance, just helps to detract from anything you post and make us actually pay attention to what you say. Like I've said, I don't really care anymore.

Eversong Woods is the best 1-10 levelling zone, both for speed, looks, and interesting quests
Ghostlands is best for 10-20 for speed, rewards, awesome questlines, and is the best looking "plagued" zone in the game IMO
I don't care how gay people think Blood Elves are, but their starter zones are the best. I've often leveled Blood Elves from 1-20 then deleted them just because its so damn fun.
