So far i've been leveling as prot but my friend said it'd be much faster to level as a dps spec and suggested fury, problem is I never played fury(don't even know its rotations) all I really know is arms and prot.
Can someone Offer me some insight and some suggestions? i'm currently level 70 on my Warrior.

This is only what I think:
If you are going to level by questing then arms and prot should be pretty equal, with the exception that prot can do some quests that arms will need to outlevel or have aid in.
If you are going to level by dungeons, then i would suggest prot since tanks are hard to find and you will get a almost instant group as tank.
I wouldent go fury untill you have access to at least bloodthirst, but I would still go arms or prot by then.
But I leveled my warrior in the start of tbc so I really cant be super sure of this.

I have no idea, which is why I decided to ask here instead of taking his word. Anywho I have dual spec so should I go arms for a dps spec and switch to prot when ever I pug an instance? or just level completely as prot.

Dual-spec Arms/Prot is probably best. Arms for questing if you feel like it (LFD can get tiring), but can switch to Prot for soloing group quests. Prot for dungeons. Fury will be kind of weak at level 70 since you won't have Impale or Deep Wounds (unless you don't get TG, but that would be silly).
If you just want to hit 80 and gear up as quickly as possible, stay prot and chain run dungeons using the LFD tool, then once you have the tank gear to do it, start chain queuing for heroics. You will inevitably end up with a lot of dps drops and a crap-ton of emblems to purchase dps gear with.

Fury is the worst spec for leveling (at any level). Go Prot or Arms depending on which style you like more.
Your "friend" is full of crap. Does he/she even play a Warrior?
i leveled from 70-80 as prot; it seemed fine to me, and that was before random dungeons queues.
the hardest part was rounding up enough mobs without having some of them reset. i almost never had to eat - a few bandages and you're g2g. at 75 with enraged regen, you won't even need the bandages.
either of the dps specs would be fine too - just play what you like.

Thanks for all the advice, everyone. I think I got everything I need now.
Edit: Oh, wait! I did have one more question, what glyphs should I use, and why?

Tykan, what your friend has recommend is not wise. Although Fury spec is the "default" spec for dps, but until you get some really nice gear, Fury Spec is not really a good option for dps, let alone for levelling.
If you love grinding and going to dungeons, go for protection (which i don't like and i would not recommend)
Arms is the best talent for levelling your warrior. And you can use it for PVP, Battlegrounds. Besides, Arms spec provide decent dps before obtaining gears on 232 level and above.
For levelling, Arms spec just needs half to one full rotation to kill a creep, Fury spec can't do that. Plus you will be frustrated as you will keep noticing misses from your attacks. (yes fury spec)
Major Glyphs : Rending, Mortal Strike, and Bladestorm or Execute
While i admit protection spec is viable, it still needs some basic decent gear to be effective. Arms spec would only requires a good weapon to work.

I started Fury, but nearly renamed it 'furyustration' because of all the misses and no rage.
Respecced Arms at 30ish, am currently at 48 and having a ball.

I read this advice on another post in these forums.
"leveling a warrior is a $%^&*, it will be a %^&*! no matter what spec you are so pick the spec that interests you the most and go level"
I do agree with masti though, you should use the last ten levels to practice with whatever spec you plan on using at 80.
