Well sylvanas is up to the twisted scheme's again.
Got to admit, well this and garrosh sets the horde back down the path of being classed over as the 'bad guys', I do get a grim satisfaction in thinking of sylvanas using the forbidden plague to wipe out any evidense. Greymane had this coming.

I had the idea of having King Terenas Menethil II stay as a ghost/undead/whatever and lead the Forsaken at the end of Icecrown. Kinda a dumb idea but, meh.
Have him feel responsible for leading his former citizens.
Wouldn't happen. The Forsaken despise anything even remotely related to humanity, including the Kingdom of Lordaeron and everything about it.
As for the leak itself, it's managed to make me do what Vanilla failed to do: Hate the Defias Brotherhood.
Hopefully Varian himself shows up at the end of the questline and kicks some Defias ass.
I love the fact vancleefs own daughter has taken the reins of the defias brotherhood. Theres a poetic twist in that. And she even begins to burn westfall. Gotta love Varians lack of support to his own kingdom in not given the defense to prevent that happening.

Doesn't surprise me in the least, actually.
I foresee the plot down the road: Garrosh becomes completely focused on expanding the Horde's territories and renewing aggression against the Alliance; Varian, being the rather xenophobic, mentally-scarred warrior that he is, devotes all his resources to the war against the Horde. Eventually, Azeroth is going to stand at the brink of destruction before the forces of Deathwing and Ragnaros, and both leaders will wind up broken and chastised by the more powerful neutral parties for their complete and utter failure to confront the more pressing enemy.

I like that idea actully. Imagine if both varian and garrosh's complete lack of focus and want for war makes it so something terrible happens, and both of them are ridiculed by there faction as fools.
Thrall thus takes back his seat as warchief, and Anduin takes his fathers place and true king, cleaning up what mistakes his father's made.

Anduin takes his fathers place and true king, cleaning up what mistakes his father's made.Except he's still not old enough... going on the fact that both Llane and Varian weren't crowned till they were 18.

Anduins aged and his models been updated, suggesting he might be as old as 16 now. Imagine into cata it happens.
And this from you who wrote a story of how Varian was killed and anduin actully becoming king?

If it happens into Cata... that still only makes him 17 which would mean it would still be a year under a regent. And yes I did... but he wasn't the full king till he was 18, same as it seems to be for the Stormwind line.

Er, did you actually look at the screenshots? The whole "Varian and Stormwind don't care about us" schtick is Defias propaganda that they've been using since vanilla.
What the people in the thread are ignoring is that these propaganda posters found in Westfall, as well as this rally, were all organized and executed by the Defias Brotherhood, who had their greed and pride stoked by Onyxia, and are now led by someone with vengeance on their mind.
the pre-cataclysm "stormwind abandoned us" yells by westfall wasn't the work of the defias.
after all, even stoutmantle himself that his own goverment abandoned him, and so did several of the people's militia.
maybe (just maybe) the post-cataclysm "stormwind abandoned us" stuff is defias propaganda, but don't just jump ahead and say that it was the same case for the original vainilla quest-chain.
remember that the defias themselves are the product of the negligence of Stormwind's goverment. If varian cant controll his own nobles, I don't get all the flak Thrall has recieved for not controlling the forsaken.
I mean, varian wasn't able to controll his own kingdom. (OJO and I'm talking about pre-katrana mindcontroll, he became mindcontrolled after his wife died, but the refuse to pay the stonemasons was before that, he could had stopped that injustice and chose not to, so he didn't upset the corrupt nobles)
also, I don't see why the hate towards sylvannas for killing liam, she was ordered to invade gilneas, on an invation cutting the head of the enemy demoralizes them, she intended to kill greymane (a rather HUGE bastard) and liam stood on the way (noble of the kid, but he wasn't the intended target)
war is war, soldiers die in war, is not like she assasinated him in his sleep, she was in a battle, the gilneas were defending themselves, she saw an oportunity to take out the enemy leader and took it, but liam protected his father. that's it.
what I am angry about sylvannas is her disobedience of the law passed by Thrall wich explicitly said "no more plage".
I told ya that the orcs no longer aproved the use of the blight.
http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/7037/logh.jpg
as you can see, the orcs told her not to use the plage, it was forbidden, and she chose to disobey, for this I expect her to be punished in some way for this. Hopefully something painfull :P I coun't care less about the gilneans, but using that plage is a direct disobedience to Thrall's command of NEVER using that crap again, and I expect to see some heads roll for that.
it seems that some things never change............

so, you think its ok that she wants to eventually wipe out all life? k, its not just that she killed liam, its that too.
Liam jumped in front of the arrow that was aimed to his father. He sacrificed himself to let his father live. Maybe it not just but the Forsaken are like that, doesn't care who lives or who dies.
