Hey guys. Well. I had a Hunter. I adore playing him and he deals insane DPS. I recently created a DK and i adore his gameplay and Lore. His whole connection with WotLK and the Lich King and the city and...oooo everything. Now. Im stuck on whether to play as my DK or my Hunter
my DK is 71 and my Hunter is 71 too. I adore both and im really stuck. Could anyone help? Whenever i play my DK i love it for a bit...then pine for my Hunter. Whenever i play my Hunter i love it for hours....then pine for my DK

It's the Altoholic syndrome. Check out my profile page. I consider my main my mage just because he's my achievement toon, but I play what I like when I feel like it.

Worry not, I know the feeling of being an altoholic. Really, just pick what ultimately makes you happy.
A long time ago I thought that being an utility class (something that can tank, damage and heal or any combination of the two) would make me happy -- but it didn't. I tried a hunter, loved it, but just couldn't enjoy it for extended periods. I'm now back on the rogue that I played for Burning Crusade and I couldn't be happier. Sure, I only do one thing -- but man does this class have a lot of fun mechanics to play around with!

I am an altoholic.
My mage was my first 80, within 12 days of WLK's release. That includes late nights at work, dating, and such.
My paladin, hunter, dk, and shaman followed.
My druid is almost 80.
My rogue, warlock, and warrior, as well as a second and third hunter, have gotten a bunch of playtime, but I still can't get into my priest.
On a weekend day where I know I'll have time, I'll run through my frost dungeon runs (and sometimes I'll get stuck on a single toon and skip the rest!).
Other times, I'll just pick a toon to play and run them out of rest or run a single dungeon or whatever.
My rogue shot from 65 to 71, then I realized he was catching up to my druid, so I ended up levelling my druid from 72 to 79 in under a week :) Will probably hit 80, as I said, later tonight or tomorrow :D

Yeah, forget that "advice". You should do what's fun for you. It's a game, after all -- and one you're paying monthly for, at that. It had
better
be fun or you're wasting your money. I quit the game for most of BC because I kept letting other people dictate how I should play, and they sucked all the fun out of it. These days, I play how
I
want, and I'm enjoying WoW way more than I did the first time around.
Currently I have six active characters on an RP server. The options are pretty endless there, so I do whatever's fun at the moment. It something stops being fun, I change to a different character or just change what I'm doing.

Yeah, im forcing myself to get at least one character to 80. Then i can buy Heirlooms and really embrace my "Alt-side" :P

Altoholic here. Have 2 80's a 78, 70, 46, 40 and a level 16 atm. Only do achievements on 1 toon my druid and 1st 80. Almost have my voilet proto drake...
On topic: I would say go for DK since they can tank but the problem remains you love both. Best advise as stated before is to play each till rested bonus is depleted. Its a slower process than leveling 1 to 80 but if you enjoy playing both, go for it! Wow is about having fun so do what you enjoy!

The addon basically combines all your alerts into one character. You can see which characters have mail, what each ones rested status is and oads more

I'm not sure you fellows have truly wallowed in your altoholicness.
Check out my profile. All ten classes at 80 (horde side), and a decent start on the alliance side.

I'd say play the class you have more fun leveling, playing, or what-not. Alts are extremely tempting to play when you know you got to work on something else. but having that leveling experiance of your alts just exillerates your gaming. Honestly work seperatly when you got enough time on your hands for it. I level my gnome warlock when I'm supposed to raid on my 80.
( Yes, i shouldn't do that but It manages to keep me happy when raiding gets boring at a time.)
