I'm a tank, so take with a grain ...
A single Holy Pally is able to heal her to full. However, it's hard. Our Holy Pally did it when we had only 2 healers and he beat the enrage timer by like 2-3 seconds.
We've also tried it with 3 healers and only 8 people in raid. We got it within 0.5 seconds of all the adds wiping everyone.
We also did it with 3 healers, 10 people in raid and it was like clearing trash, easy.
While it's doable with less, I recommend 3 healers.

We usually run with 3 healers. 2 on Dreamwalker and one strictly for raid heals.
Three tips I've heard when doing this as I've only done it as tank and dps.
Crusader Aura works when collecting orbs
Beacon her and Heal a Hunter's Tenacity Pet with the increased Healing talents.
BL when you guys are at a really high stack level.
Crusader aura lets you fly around faster collecting orbs
Supposedly Dreamwalker gets the 40% bonus healing if you are healing a Hunter's Tenacity Pet with
Blood of the Rhino
.
You want to save your BL for when the healers are fully stacked up and you can push some major heal throughput at that point.
Also remember LoH.

a clarification to the above, it's only the glyph of holy light's splash heal that gets increased by blood of the rhino but it's still definitely worth doing. you need to get your hunter to take their pet in to valithria and put it on stay so that it will be close enough for the splash heal to hit her.
if you don't have a hunter then you should still be beaconing valithria and healing yourself (while standing close to her of course). the splash from GoHL can account for an awful lot of your healing done in that fight.

Ah good to know. I was debating that the beacon didn't take into account the 40%, but the splash heals makes sense. And yes, tell the hunter to tell the pet to stay and put it on passive. You don't want it following you around or attack stuff you're attacking.

resto heals the raid and two pallies heal valithria is ideal in my opinion. pally throughput is immense when over-healing isn't a factor. also, you can help with tank healing in emergencies (when they catch debuffs) and still heal valithria via beacon.
the thing is that the raid damage in that fight is all totally avoidable so if your raid tank is having trouble look for ways your DPS can reduce their incoming damage.

Normal mode can be solo healed with a paladin on the dragon, and solo tanked. I would really try and practice having the fight be three healed with two healers going in every single portal.
This fight on heroic mode is no joke. She is constantly taking damage and the healing that needs to be done is enormous.
Our group does it with a holy paladin and a resto druid going in the portal, while one resto druid stays out and never goes in. The resto druid on the outside gets an innervate from himself and the other healer (who has no need for it) and a third innervate from our tanking druid.
Cheers,
Hat

The 10 man pug (my guild typically survives until about when the first portals close...) I did it with had me and a resto shaman on the dragon and a druid on the raid. It was incredibly easy, just don't let the stacks fall off.
A note about Crusader aura: If the number one reason you have trouble picking up orbs is that you have a tendency to fly right through them without proccing them, don't use Crusader aura. It just makes things worse.

crusader is good, just pause on each orb until it pops.

On 10man (normal) we have 2 holy paladins and a resto shaman go into the portal, while a holy priest stays out to heal the raid with a single tank. After the second set of portals, bloodlust, blow cooldowns, win.
On heroic, we do the exact same thing, minus the shaman stays out with a second tank, the priest goes DPS, and we wait until the 4th portal, bloodlust, blow cooldowns, win.
25 Heroic, we have 3 holy paladins go into the portals, at about 30 stacks (less or more depending on damage done to Valithria) we blow cooldowns, bloodlust, and win. 2 tanks, 7 healers, 16 DPS

not that.
a beacon heal is the same as the primary heal so stop worrying about that.
however if you do what you suggest then you miss out on the GoHL splash heal which can amount to an awful lot. ideally use a tenacity pet but in lieu of that beacon her and heal yourself while standing close yourself.

I have been healing 10 and 25 lately and i find that the healing that dreamwalker receives diminishes if i beacon her. I solved that problem by beaconing a focused tank and spamming holy light on dreamwalker. Works like a charm. I am always top of the healing charts by a large margin. The only issue i have had lately is with the other healer that im with not doing as much heals so it taking too long to finish fight.
It doesnt diminish, it just doesnt take into account any +% healing received talents. It doesnt matter who is the beacon and who is the target, the heals will be still the same. Dont miss the chance to heal anything close enough for the glyph heal on Valithria (i.e. yourself)

I actually prefer to beacon the tank for another reason, holy light will not heal the full amount on the beaconed target if you overheal the target of your holy light. In the dreamwalker fight, i guarantee you will overheal the tank.
Are you on a private server set to 3.1? That hasn't been true for a long time.
