I've been raiding as Resto, I have all the emblem gear for my set so I started grabbing pieces for my feral set. The problem is that self buffed (GotW) I have 33647 Health, 28954 Armor & 40.80% Dodge and these
little guys are smacking me around. Their spell
Shadow Blast is just kicking my butt. After running it last night I took two shots, both at 18541 damage and that was after resisting 5241 of it. Did these get buffed? Am I just not handling them right? I know I'm not undergeared, mostly 232 dps gear from ICC 5 mans with 2 piece (atm) T9. I'm actually kind of embarassed and keep apologizing to the pug healers, I really am a decent tank, it's just these guys keep giving me grief.
ArmoryEdit: Now that I think of it, I never had this problem on my Prot Pally, maybe it's the fact that I can silence them?
As a Bear Druid myself I can tell you that these guys can be the hardest part of the instance.
Since we cannot pull the mob to us (the others move to us), these guys usually sit in back and tear people up.
Your best bet is to focus on them first, mark them for first target, TELL your dps to kill it first and to interrupt it if they can. They're easy fights after that.
Protip: Turn
left at the first intersection. You can turn into the boss room after that and avoid the room with two close groups so you don't risk getting both groups as it's really easy to get them both since we can't make the casters move.
((Also might actually be a professional quality tip..l so .. used the meme wrong?))
Yes, it's easier on your Pally for your silence. Moves the mob into melee and thus into the mass AoE your party does so they'll usually die before they do too much.
