You know the biggest problem with nagas?
No?
Have you ever seen a snake jump?
And I think we will see pandarens before nagas, but then again, that's just opinion.

I'm not up on all the lore for Naga, but aren't they universally pure evil? Would be very hard to put them in a faction when they all want to eat your children for breakfast.

Tail caps, and lots of skirts heh.
Beyond that though, I'd rather not have Naga or Pandaren added into the game as playable classes; one would get no players, the other would denude the factions as everyone rushes to make one.

i just thought of a reason they probly dont use Naga
its because armor would not fit right, blizzard would have to reconfigure a whole different line of armor and the way it looks on Naga.
Actually, you can apply most of the armor in the game to the Naga models. If you download the WoW model viewer, you can see that for yourself. It basically turns pants into sort of skirt-singlet things, and boots into tail armor, I think.

Yes:

But lore wise naga are generally very evil. They serve an OId God afterall. I mean you can argue that none of the currently playable races are 'good' but none of them seem to be as maligned as the Naga are. Plus who would they ally with? The alliance? Certainly not, they resent the Night Elves far too much for that. The Horde? While they might feel kinship with their Highborne kin in the Blood Elves the whole mess in Outland with helping Kael and Illidan likely tainted the Horde and the remaining Blood Elves against them as well. And it stands to reason that many Naga could resent the Blood Elves as well for not being cursed to the bottom of the sea for the last 10,000 odd years like they were.
I think they're better as they currently are, an evil outside faction for us to fight.

True, but Blizzard could potentially write in a faction of Naga who have turned away from the Old Gods. We already know that some races are going to be members of smallish factions within the entire race; for instance, the playable goblins will be far different from the NPC goblins of the Steamwheedle Cartel - willing to take sides rather than playing the neutral vendor.
And it's not exactly like we don't already have somewhat evil playable races; the Forsaken aren't exactly cherubs of innocence. ;)

Problem isn't the Old God... it's actually creating a reason for them to break away from Queen Azshara; all of the Naga are ex-Highborne who were more or less her soul slaves, willing to die for the Light of the Lights, Queen Massive Jugs of the ultimate T&A experience, so Blizzard needs to come up with a good reason of why they broke off. Even Vashj still technically worked for Azshara even as she served Illidan.
