Yes.
I moved the contents of the enUS folder and the upload was successful.
(New cache files were created after I logged back into wow.)
Thanks guys.

Hey, I just released version 1.6.7 of the Client. That version provides a better logging system (take a look at the View menu) and also has many bug fixes. I'm not sure it will solve this current issue, but at least it's going to bring me closer to finding the problem.
Please try the new version and copy the log files content somewhere like
http://codepad.org/
, then give us feedback!

The new version re-introduced the upload problem (because all cached data that was already uploaded needs to be uploaded again).
The new error message clearly shows that there is a problem on the Wowhead end of things.
Thanks for using the Wowhead Client!

Just tried uploading and, as others are reporting, I get an error:
Thanks for using the Wowhead Client!
This is version 1.6.7, built on July 29, 2010.
Compatible with Wrath of the Lich King.
Upload failed: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Tried 4 times now, same error every time at about 44%. Tried restarting the client after the the second failure, made no difference.
Previous version was fine for me, no problems at all. Playing on English European version of WoW in case that info helps at all.

Well, I just ran the client and it finally completed the transfer without getting stuck at91% and lagging out. I did have to reinstall WoW today because one of the HDD's in my RAID array died. I also deleted the Wowhead application info in the "Users\<Name>\appData\Wowhead_Client" (Windows 7 x64 Ultimate) directory under my profile so that may have helped. I, however, am assuming that whatever you did fixed the issue that was occurring. I'll post again if the problem arises again.
Log info:

Upload succeeded!
Edit: Added log info.

I have been getting the "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" error for a while now, It happened on every upload at the same time (82%).
I renamed my WDB folder to WDB_old and restarted WoW. The problem has now cleared for me.

Hi, I'm still having the upload problem (since page 2 ^^).
Same config, with or without AV / FW / whatever I could think of. (W7 64 / Nod32 SmartSecurity)
I deleted / redownload the program, cleared the wow directory from wowhead stuff and even in the registry.
I tried without the itemcache (7MB), no succes either.
Here's some log :

I hope you'll find this bug. :-)
