Well here is some of my noob starting misstake: Started playing wow then beta ended. This was like 5 years or something ago, not total sure on how long time it was. But i started playing paladin because i thought they looked uber and dwarf bcs i like them. Humans are boring imo.
Okey my list now:
- I was at lvl 10 standing outside IF, suddenöy got an invite from another dwarf accepted. But i did not speak bcs i did not know how to use party or leave party.
- Was doing the paladins quest for that good mace you get at lvl 20 ish. Was asking for help with the part you need in Shadowfang keep and the part for BFD start area which drops of the nagas before instance portal. A paladin offered to help me, who was around lvl 25. We did SFK smooth and was heading to BFD. Then we fought the nagas he asked me why i did not heal. I responded Healing you cna only do out of combats. THe paladin carefully explained like this: okey, but you can use healing then you fight also. Did not know that so i had from that moment only healed then i was out of combat on myself. Stupid i know:)
- Thought holy was the only paladin tree during most part of vanilla wow.
- okey this one is perhaps not totally nub but a bit of missunderstanding. I was doing the DM for first time and we had a priest who healed and i was dpsing as holy. leader said greed on the green and need if need on blues etc. We was right before the goblin boss and a cloth item dropped who was green. We pressed greed and i won it. THen after a pull priest said he wanted it, now remember i was kinda new, so i refused and said he should pay for it. THe leader got really angry and said give the damn item to priest now. We argued for a minute and he threaten to kick me. I had no idea that it meant. So i was removed and teleported to menethil. One of the player thought sorry about me and tried to explain.

- didn't know how to talk to people and though a friend explained it to me, I couldn't remember how to talk to people for the longest time. Same friend gave me heck for trying to kill everything with a dagger, but I was doing that because I thought the dagger would be more effective...while playing a warlock.
- spent tons of time grinding on humanoid mobs for money, or whatever else I could get for vendor trash, just to be able to afford vendor armor. Same for vendor bags.
- started to get really PO'd at my imp because it kept attacking things I didn't want it to attack and kept dying...and I kept blaming the imp.
- before I discovered vendors I would just destroy stuff to make more room when I needed it, so I always spent forever grinding more on anything that dropped money so I could pay for training.
Fun, fun times x3

I used to believe that 1000 gold for the lvl 60 mount would take me years to get (like on that game cabal online, where to get the good mounts you gotta......... :S I rather not remember it T.T, too painfull)
I used to believe that using my money for white gear from vendors was wiser than getting new skills.
I used to believe that once you finished an instance you could never doit ever again.
I used to believe that items wich soulbound could be "unbound" later on.
I used to believe that I could swim from kalimdor to the eastern kingdoms and viceversa.
I used to believe tauren where slower than other races.
I used to believe that if I saw a player from the oposing faction with a lvl ? it was because they where cheating xD and reported several of them before someone clarified me the truth xDDDDDD
I used to believe you needed to be max lvl to use flight masters and as such it was common for me to run from ogrimar to tanaris ALL THE TIME :P (without a mount, cause yhea, I never knew warlocks had their own mounts until waaaay later)

My first toon was a Human Warrior on Andorhal. These are the memories that have stuck with me.
-I saw someone else post this earlier, but I tried to run to Ironforge from Stormwind through Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes at about level 13. Needless to say, that didn't turn out well.
- A friend gave me 20g to buy some armor from the AH. I bought paladin gear not knowing anything about stats and that Int was pretty much useless for me.
- I didn't visit a trainer until I was past level 10. A friend had to tell me about it.
- I never knew to repair my gear. I spent most of my levels prior to 10 running around naked and unarmed from broken gear.
- I asked a ? Level Tauren and Orc for help with a quest. They killed me. I was a low level human warrior on a PvP Server asking the opposition for help. Just for the record, it doesn't work.

Haha! :D
I were very much informed from the beginning, so I knew all the
basics
.
I did, however, manage to believe that Dwarf Hunters were the only who may use Guns. I think I thought that because of a trailer, and most low level Dwarfs had Guns.
I also thought that the
Druid balance talent-tree
, were a "Feral and Restoration" mix, which was why I chosed it. (I did go Feral when I found out what it
really
was.)
Great times back then, - not something I miss and want to "relive", but rather something I couldn't game without. :)
