Druid Drop of Death!
Return to board index
or just Druid Drop, or maybe Druid Chicken... I'm still working on the name
Anyways I was flying through Nagrand today on my druid and (as I usually do when I'm not flying anywhere in particular) I would shift out of flight form, fall almost to the ground, and then shift back at the last possible moment. I'm sure many of you have done it.
Well it got me thinking. How fun would it be to get together an entire group of druids and have a little death-rush compeition? You could have the group of druids all get into flight form and line up over an empty field; at least 3 druids, but more would be preferable. You could have one judge at the top (doesn't need to be a druid, just someone with flying) and one or small panel of judges on the ground.
The "droppers" would then shift out of flight form and then shift back into flight as close as to the ground as possible. The judge (or judges) on the bottom would then make sure that no one moved after shifting into flight and the lowest to the ground wins! You even have prizes (gold, epic gem, stack of ore... whatever)!
If the druids are
worried about dying then you could do this over a lake, such as the one next to Garadar in Nagrand (which has a nice little floating isle above it for spectators. Not to mention that the isle itself is interesting... you know, the one with dead soldier and all the apples?). This way, the druids who lose only fall into the water (water forces you out of flight) and no one dies. I think the dying is what gives the excitement though.
I wish my server were bigger, I would probably get more people interested- unfourtantly Demon Soul has a pretty low population.
So what do you guys think? Questions, suggestions, comments?
priest on other side on that server that Holy Nova's in the middle of all the druids while falling= WIN
If your worried about dying... just naked skydive.
Although it would suck for the druids dropping, for all the spectators it would be freaking hilarious to watch! I guess you could have it over a town to help get rid of that problem. Or you could do it in an obscure spot in outlands, where barely anyone goes anymore.
Oh thats true Adamsm... Never even thought of that XD
