i have got to say that i am looking forward to a worgan, the lore behind them sounds good, and i would like to see how they are brought into the alliance
now on another note i saw some people say there is no sence of loyalty to horde or alliance.
i have played WoW for a while now, and in all my time i have NEVER wanted a horde toon, i think that they are barbaric and twisted and that most people that play them enjoy watching peoples pain, hance why i have only got allaince (mainly dwarfs because i think they are the best ever) but having said that, i dont like allaince either, for not one time on there history do i see a reason they came to be, other than to stop the orcs, to which they(worgans) wanted to wipe them all out.
now as to loyalty, i have no idea as to were you draw the line, but i think loyalty is as follows
1. not leaving your guild if an offer comes up (i hate people that are wana be elites, that ditch when someone blows smoke up there ass)
2. help others out on your side
3. kill all horde
4. always do number 3 first above all
i think it is as easy as that

This is the best post ever. It makes so little sense.

In Cataclysm itself: Worgens will provide people(such as myself) a chance to hunt down and kill Forsaken mobs without worrying about people crying I'm killing their toon. You get to be a wolf-man during battle, but have a chance to transform back into a sub-par human. You get to serve under Genn Graymane, which is actually a plus for me; more Lore ftw. The Worgen actually have a semi-interesting mystery added into them; the 'Ancient Allies' of the Night Elves; I'm looking forward to investigating that. And finally, you get the bird-bear-pig-wolf creature as a mount; I know my 80's will be off to grind the rep to get that mount.

It's more convenient, there's no denying it, but at the same time, making friends is much more difficult. Back in the day, you would actually remember the good players that you've played with and even add them to your friends list to do future runs with them. It may have seemed insignificant at the time, but each and every run strengthens the bond between you and the other player. I'm saddened every time I log in now because most of my friends that I met during my WoW days are either long gone, or even worse, they have no idea who I am when I whisper them.
I partly agree with you. It was indeed nice to get to know people when doing instances with them, but, there's also good sides on the new LFG system; most importantly, even if you had a bit lower populated server, you can still now run instances easy.
That said, I respect your opinion if you think that what I'm saying is silly. When it comes down to it,
experiencing for as long as I have has simply made me an old-fashioned kind of guy.
Sure, it may have taken me an hour to find a group for an instance and another two hours just to complete it (and actually using CC!), but I would rather go through that rigorous process than burn through ten runs in two hours with a random group each time using LFD, because it really made me feel a connection to the rest of the group, and completing the dungeon was an acknowledgment of being a good player, unlike now where I can button-mash my way through an instance.
^ THIS ^ You're my hero! :D It's like you just read my mind for me, I just couldn't agree more with you with this point
Have to say I tend to agree with this also, at least to a point. I love the new LFD tool, but I really think it should have been setup for that server only. 99% of the changes Blizzard has made I've loved, but this one single handededly destroyed most of the community that the game had. That may sound a little more dramatic than I really mean it to be, but the basic point is accurate enough. Nobody knows anybody anymore, and most of the time people really don't give a flying rat anyway.
I completely agree that the LFD tool is a hundred times more convenient and makes the game a lot easier to manage, but the way it is implemented really only seems to encourage players to be nasty to each other. If your moving a little to slow your booted, if you do 10 less dps than the norm your booted, if you don't know your perfect rotation your booted, and I've never seen so many ninja attempts and foul-tempered players. I've seen more negative community since the LFD was implemented than I've seen in the entire rest of the time I've played WoW, and I've been here on and off since launch.
Anyway, I'm done de-railing. It's not like people haven't heard this rant a hundred times already anyway. So, long story short...
^ Agree with above posts ^

Why does everyone Keep saying its a 1% chance to hit, when its a 1% dmg increase, as stated on the WoW Head guide?

Well, as we can see, worgens will be the new addition to the alliance forces in Cataclysm.
They will be playable as mages, priest, rogues, warlocks, warriors, hunters, death knights, and the more hyped one, druid!
Now, will worgens rock azeroth with druids, or be average? Will they facemelt as a mage, or fail?
Basically, I am asking whether or not worgens will be worth leveling from 1 to 85.
Their passive skills are Darkflight, which increases running speed by 70% for 10 seconds,
Viciousness which increases all damage done by 1%
, Aberration which decreases the amount of time all curses or diseases stay on the player by 15%, not to mention the skinning skill increased by 15 and the removes the need for a skinning knife.
They also have the ability to change from worgen to human when not in combat, cool.
Not to mention all the funny names you can give them, like fluffy, or spot, or spike. XD
So, what will worgens bring to Azeroth, and will they be worth the time of leveling?
More info is at Wowwiki.com/Worgen_(playable)
