Orem, Utah. And Zero, I believe they affect your health negatively. Especially since my uncle has liver problems brought on by drinking.

I drink maybe twice a week. I don't need to drink every day, so I don't.

A lot can, certainly my 3 a day average hasn't helped me lose any pounds lol.
Heh, course it doesn't help that alcoholism runs in my family...

How many during those two times a week?
Whatever I can hold down while still keeping my faculties... 2 on a bad day, maybe 4 on a good one.

I'd have a beer or three most nights when I lived in England. Generally one with dinner and one or two after depending on how much longer I stayed up before going to bed.
Now that I'm back in America I don't drink. If you're under 21, it's hard to get anything that doesn't taste awful, and I've never liked hard liquor so no going there regardless. I like beer but I never understood the culture that's formed around getting drunk for drunk's sake so I'm not about to go out breaking the law just for a taste of something truly awful from some overly loud bar.
I'd drink more when I went out with friends in England. Depends how long I was out but I usually averaged out to about a beer an hour. So on an all day sort of outing 6 or 7 beers was reasonable.
Edit: And just to clarify, once I'm over the legal age I do plan on drinking reasonable amounts again. However, overpriced imported alcohol would probably be right near the top of the list of luxuries I could easily live without if I find myself strapped for cash at any given time, and I wouldn't just start buying cheaper stuff, I'd stop buying all together. I've never understood drinking purely for the sake of getting as drunk as possible as quickly as possible, so I cannot comprehend why you'd spend money you can't afford to spend on liquor you don't enjoy the taste of.
Also, I've read the question more carefully. Weekday/weekends don't matter, just when I go out. I assume, though, that that's tantamount to what you were asking.

I don't drink.
Period. And I'm in college, what a feat that is.

Thirteen here, I drink the occasional very small glass of champagne at a Bar Mitzvah, and never gotten seriously drunk. I intend to drink in moderation when I'm older, as a glass of red wine a day is considered good for your health

This depends largly on who you are talking about, differant people drink different drinks, differently, and in different amounts.
For example, a prohibitionist would not touch alcohol. The same is true to alcoholics going through rehab (unless its a smart rehab center). However, there is a huge difference between the two. One will say zero, the other will probably say a case is their daily meal.
Personally, I have maybe a case a week, usually only drink at dinner or when out with my buddies.
(i'm leaving out the different types of beer and the proof)

I don't understand the mindset of "making it X years without drinking."
Guess what? I've made it 21 years without drinking Mellow Yellow, Power Aid, or New York City Tap Water!
I mean, I can really only see how something like that is applicable to a recovering alcoholic.

26, crap hole town in Ontario, but I don't touch the stuff; I've only had one beer and didn't finish it lol. But, that's merely me; supposedly, the healthy thing is one glass of wine a day.
