Ezreal is back in a big way
I think to be back you'd actually have to be gone in the first place. Ezreal's like an STD, he may disappear for a few days, but he'll come right back. The truest friend.
he fell off hard, other ADCS like Cait MF and Varus saw a lot more play time in the pros and so that echoed into soloq/norms

Okay so double posting this because it's a champion concept. How about a snowballing support champion?
Jeid, the Ruthless Sellsword
Role: Top, Jungler, Support
Resource Usage Info:
Jeid uses Morale as a resource. Depending on how well combat is going from Jeid’s perspective, his maximum Morale changes, with the largest possible maximum Morale set at 20 + (10 * level) (set at 30 at the start of the match). Maximum Morale can never go below 1.
For each kill or assist on an enemy champion by your team, Jeid’s maximum Morale increases by 2. If Jeid participates in the kill or assist, his maximum Morale increases by 5 instead. For each time one of his allied champions falls, Jeid’s maximum Morale decreases by 1. For each time Jeid falls, his maximum Morale decreases by 3. Structure destructions increase Jeid’s maximum Morale by 3 if his team participated in the destruction and decrease his maximum Morale by 3 if the enemy’s team destroyed one of his team’s structures.
Every 30 seconds, Jeid’s maximum Morale increases by 1. Every time his team successfully defeats the Dragon or Baron Nashor, Jeid’s maximum Morale increases by 5.
Morale regenerates at a rate of one point per second.
Passive: Paid to Fight, Paid to Strike
Whenever Jeid participates in a kill or assist, all allies, including Jeid, gain an additional 10% gold.
In addition, Jeid’s basic attacks and abilities generate Earned Keep, with basic attacks generating one (two on critical strikes) charge and abilities generating two. At ten charges, Jeid’s next ability costs no Morale, increases Jeid’s maximum Morale by 1, and awards 10 gold, but generates no Earned Keep charges.
Morale regenerates faster if Mana regeneration is built (10 MP5 = 1 Morale/5)
Q: Titan’s Might/Strongarm Throw
Cost: 1 Morale/9 Morale
Cooldown: 10 seconds after first cast
Range: 600 (Strongarm Throw)
Jeid buffs up, allowing him to throw his axes like tomahawks and granting him 550 attack range for 6 seconds. This requires a massive amount of effort and expends a large amount of strength, causing his basic attacks to deal 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% of the normal damage.
While affected by Titan’s Might, Jeid can use Strongarm Throw on an enemy target, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 + (1 * AD) physical damage and rooting them in place for 0.5 seconds.
W: Contempt
Cost: 10 Morale
Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds
Range: 300
Jeid dashes to an enemy target, knocking them into the air for 0.75 seconds and dealing 48/71/94/117/140 + (0.4 * AD) Physical damage. If the target was channeling an ability, Jeid punishes them brutally, dealing an additional 25% damage and knocking them into the air for 1 second instead.
For 3 seconds after using this ability, Jeid’s Armor and Magic Resist are increased by 10/15/20/25/30. This lasts for an additional 2 seconds if a channel was interrupted.
E: Warrior’s Ties/Shield Mate/Relentless Pursuit
Cost: 1 Morale/9 Morale/10 Morale
Cooldown: 12 seconds after first cast.
Range: 800
Jeid marks an allied mobile (non-ward) target, increasing his movement speed by 8/11/14/17/20% when moving towards it and increasing their movement speed by half that amount for 4 seconds.
For 6 seconds after casting Warrior’s Ties, Jeid can dash to the target, removing the movement speed bonus benefit he gains, but reapplying the movement speed bonus effect to the allied target and shielding 50/75/100/125/150 + (0.3 * AD) damage for an additional 4 seconds.
If cast on an enemy target, the ability instead costs 10 Morale, has only the single cast component, and becomes Relentless Pursuit, granting half the movement speed bonus as long as Jeid is chasing the target, but also increasing his attack speed by 20/25/30/35/40%.
R: Merciless Drive
Cost: None/All Morale
Cooldown: 120/110/100
When cast, all allied champions within 1500 range of Jeid gain an additional 15/20/25 Attack Damage and Ability Power for 10 seconds. The bonus Attack Damage and Ability Power is increased by 10% of Jeid’s maximum Morale.
While Merciless Drive is active, Morale regeneration is tripled and basic attacks generate 1 Morale.
Merciless Drive can be activated a second time while active to drain all of Jeid’s Morale to further increase the duration of the ongoing effect by an amount equal to 5% of his current Morale in seconds.
After Merciless Drive ends, Jeid gains 5 Maximum Morale plus an additional 5 for each enemy champion slain while the effect was active (anywhere on the map).
