I think most of you guys is underestimating the dps of a good geared ret pally. Sure hunters do greate dps, specially BM but I know a couple of good geared ret pallys and are almost always top 3 on dmp in 25-man raid. But it requires good gear but a ret pally can surely do same good dps as hunters.

ok... as ive said before in other "lets compare dps threads"... if you wanna do a comparison all things have to be as equal as possible. so take into account gear and skill as being equal or similar... no pally is gonna out dps a hunter... they for damn sure arent gonna out dps a BM hunter in a 25-man its just not gonna happen.

Lollo - My Survival hunter makes the whole group in 25 manners put out more DPS then all your BM Hunters can by yourselves - lrn2 do maths.
1 x EW buff at 750 Agi = 187.50AP bonus to all toons - say 2 tanks (low DPS) 2 rogues and 2 cats and 2 hunters = 6-8 dps sources with AP bonus = 1125AP - 1500AP over group - whereas serpent swiftness = 20% speed increase (from say 1400 AP for good BM Hunter) = 280 AP bonus + pet scaled to about 100 .
Hence in 25 man raid
SV hunter brings 1125 - 1500 bonus AP
BM Hunter brings 380 bonus AP
Lawlercopters on youse for tinking that BM is even competitive in 25 manners - maybe closer on 10 manners and ok in Heroix - but you fail in end game raids (even if you at top of DPS Meter).
Soz - you lose.
Your right, SV brings one of the best group bonuses out there. However, they lack in dps and the bonus does not stack. BM hunters bring not only exceptional dps, but a 3% damage increase that does stack with other BM hunters. My guild tries to run 2 BM hunters and 1 SV. The two BM hunters (myself and another) will usually top dps meters, thus contributing effectively to the raid. i don't see your logic in saying we fail at end-game raiding even though we are topping meters XD. Even though SV hunters bring the most total raid dps, more than one is a foolish idea and BM hunters are still very decent dps'rs. Thank's for being a huntard, you are an embarrassment to the class.

Dont see where I said you should bring more than 1 SV hunter to a raid - if you can point it out that would be appreciated.
Again - a BM hunter missing the diff between grp and personal dmg - classic.
Also, I am usually in the top 5 DPSers - not quite a high as the BM we have , cause he has better gear, but very close - reason is I have a 34% crit rate (although it always seems higher when I am playing).
Unlike BM hunters - I am perfectly willing to raid with a differently speced hunter.
If your e-peen doesnt feel as inflated then I have clearly achieved something.
I know perfectly well the difference between group and personal damage. I even said that SV hunters benefit the group more overall. My point is; that even though this is true, it is rather silly to say BM hunters cannot be competitive in 25-mans since they ability to deal top dps and bring the second best hunter group buff there is.
I never said I don't like grouping with differently specced hunters :/. We always try to have a SV hunter in the raid, but after that we try to bring BM over MM simply because they can normally deal more damage (till BT/Hyjal) and they provide a far better buff.
My e-peen has already reached critical mass. There isn't much you can do to stop its reign of destruction.
As for your link, I like

better XD
