In Finland we have pretty nice hdi. There are rich people areas and poor people areas.
Every child has same chances to "be succesful" (this is a bad term since it's relative) since education is free and all. Basically this means that if someones a poor alcoholic, it was his own fault. How is it a bad term? I mean, the poor kid has just as much right to be a famous person as a rich little snob, just means the Poor kid will work harder.
And in Africa people are happy even though they're possibly poor.
They see kids as good working power and as result of sex.
They don't think should they bring kids to this "hellhole".Bolded that part for a reason; so the children of loving couples(as opposed to those formed from a rape or the like) only do so because they didn't use protection and they wanted more man power? And while we might see Africa as a hellhole(I was actually refering to so called developed countries), they merely see it as the place they have been living for centuries. As for your first statement... what, poor people can't be happy?

Every choice is inherently selfish. People are selfish. One form of selfishness is only more 'right' than another form if you put it in the context of a moral framework.
So, echoing Hyper's call for a reply to his question, what makes not having kids less 'right' in its selfishness than having kids?
Because your parents gave you life, but you don't want to give life to anyone else since your selfish.
That's not a valid argument. The fact that your parents gave you life does not provide any moral guidance on what the 'right' thing to do is. You're also begging the question by saying that being selfish is not right 'since your selfish'. Try again.

Not to mention, what if your parents were some people doing it in an alley, and didn't take the proper safety precautions. Are you selfish then not wanting to have kids?

Yeah sure. I can take a loan from bank and not pay it back because: It's my money, I can do whatever I want with it.
.

also who says that a couple should have a child? personally i dont want kids although its a more personal reason and i dont wish to share it on a public forum

Wow...
OP fails, a lot.
How on earth is it selfish for me not to have kids? It's not like my kids care yet. They don't exist. How on earth am I being selfish?
