Playing WoW on Mac laptops

Hi,
I don't know what would be the appropriate forum, but I'll post here since I couldn't find a better one myself.
I'm considering buying a Mac laptop (probably MacBook Pro) for home and work computer. Given that I'm a WoW player, I'm naturally interested in how well the game runs on them. So anyone who is playing on a Mac laptop (whatever model), could you quickly comment the framerate and graphical options you have? Would you generally recommend a Mac for playing WoW?
Also, I've assumed I can use my X8 Sidewinder mouse with the Mac. Right?
Thanks for any help!
Yours, Emmerald

I am currently on a 2.4 GHz Macbook, upgraded to 4 Gb Ram. With exception of a crappy connection, not depending on the comp. WoW is running smoothly and nicely on 1024x768 Resolution. I have high details on all effect, not player textures though, not sure why :) I usually have it hooked to a bigger 21" screen, no issues with that either.
Given that I'm a resolution addict, I can't imagine myself using anything less than 1920x1200 for work (which is what I currently have on my work computer, though running WoW on the second best resolution), so that's the size I'd be getting. Any idea how that would affect the performance?
