Hi, so I have a resto druid and I've been doing arena. About 2k in 2's. I was using the IS spec but with my new partner I find my 3's spec is better. So now my IS spec isn't really needed and I want to go boomkin for some fun in BG's and mabey 3's. I'm having trouble finding a pvp spec for boomkin's can you help please.
Glyph's and a rotation will help, and yes i now rotation depends on what your fighting and stuff, but just a begineers rundown, i've never been a boomkin before, was feral for the last few years until I decided to try pvp a couple months ago. Thanks

Firstly, I am not sure if I am a good moonkin PvPer or not as I have yet to have a chance to Arena as moonkin. But i've been doing moonkin BGs for about a year.
The Spec i like best is:

For 3rd Glyph either
Monsoon
, or
Innervate
.
If you play in a comp where Starfall is just too risky to use you can get a NS spec:

+ 2
I personally don't like this spec at all. Instant Cyclone can save your life, but just as often it doesn't seem to work out great and then it has a 3 min cooldown. It also has some wasted talents (Intensity is a bit of a waste in Spiritless moonkin PvP gear). Imo it seems stronger to just coordinate with teammate's CC about when you are using Starfall.
For playstyle, try to not get locked out of Nature spells. I often bait a kick/interupt with starfire so i can make a fast switch to wrath/cyclones/roots/heals/typhoon. All your CC spells, all your defensive spells (heals) and your best nukes are all Nature. Tracking your target's Interupt/CS type cooldowns with an addon like Afflicted is handy as being locked out of Nature for many seconds will really screw a moonkin.
Other than that just kite a lot. The daze effect on Typhoon is very strong and if the Treants are up (with Brambles) their target will be slowed for a long time. Pillar humping ftw.
For gear - all moonkin PvP gear. 4-set bonus is mandatory. Engineering is a big bonus (hand rockets help a lot with scoring kills).
