Weak PC UI setup?

Hey,
I got pretty weak pc and experience lots of fps lagging in raids and battlegrounds. My friends who used similar setup of addons has about 3 times better pc than mine, but he experienced some of these as well - he decided to completely wipe his addons and he noticed a huge improvement.
Currently using:
Xpearl, power auras, DBM, Omen, Recount, Outfitter, Rating Buster, Auctioner, Quartz, Gatherer, Mikscrolling battle text and Titanpanel. Occasionally Grid/Clique when i am healing.
I play at minimum graphic details at 1280x720, without music.
My pc is Athlon 2600+, 758 RAM and Radeon 9550 128 as graphic card.
Mostly been thinking about switching Xpearl for Pitbull. Which one of these has less CPU/memory usage? Tried Pitbull before but i got scared with the non PnP setup (lots of configuring to properly use it)
But if its better resourcewise i am willing to force my self to it. I managed to configure Grid (still customising it) so, i should be able to do same with any addon if i try hard enough
Also Titanpanel is kinda old, but i like the features, which i heard the new ones dont have.
My friend noticed huge lagging from MSBT (we both used SCT before but it was lagging even more), is there any way to reduce that by unticking some of the events, or will addon eat as much CPU/memory as on full capacity anyway?
I have really no conditions to reliably test it myself as my FPS is 1-3 in peak times, so i most likely wont notice the difference, unless like the friends i completely wipe all my addons. But i am wishing to experiment to get at least 5 FPS.
Also Recount seems to be eating a lot (even turned of, not visible on the screen, but still gathering data ofc).
Another question.
Anyone been able to make reliable Arms Charge/Intercept sequence macro?
Currently using the simplest ever:
/castsequence reset=20 charge, berserker stance, intercept, battle stance
Which i find nice as long as the button is pushed accurately as many times as needed. Unfortunatelly i tend to spam it occasionally and than it often stucks in berserker stance, than i have to switch to battle manually and after it doesnt want to charge from battle, i have to switch back to zerker to intercept. Any chance to do it with some conditionals?

Addons that update constantly are the ones that can make you lag... from your list I can say: Omen, Recount, Gatherer, Mikscrolling, Titanpanel (wtf, get ride of this junk, this is one of the the worst programmed addon ever, I am sure just getting ride of that one you would see a huge improvement).

Recount, Gatherer and Auctioneer eat up lots of resources. You don't have to delete them, just shut them off from the character screen before a raid/bg. Get
Fubar
to replace Titanpanel. There is a plug-in called
Fubar_PerformanceFu
that is very light weight and will show you resource allocation so you can see which other add-ons eat up your memory. But Recount, Gatherer and Auctioneer eat up a lot. And get SCT, go into options, and shut off the things you don't need. It is still going to track them, but it won't eat up the resources displaying them.
Pitbull may use less resources, but the new version is balls to set up. I would stick with x-perl.
And if you can get more ram into your computer, I would. Three 256 chips is not very much. It shouldn't cost much to fill all the slots you have (I would guess 4, but some machines only have 3) with the best ram it can take.
You should also start saving your pennies for a new machine, because this is just going to get worse.

758 RAMGet some more.
Mostly been thinking about switching Xpearl for Pitbull. Which one of these has less CPU/memory usage?Definitely Pitbull.
Currently the best option as far as performance goes is oUF (short of coding one on your own), but it requires at least some understanding of Lua and API to configure properly.
Also Titanpanel is kinda old, but i like the features, which i heard the new ones dont have.Titanpanel's features (and most such addons' ones for that matter) are quite simple and it wouldn't be hard for them to be re-coded in LibDataBroker, if someone hasn't already done them.
My friend noticed huge lagging from MSBT (we both used SCT before but it was lagging even more), is there any way to reduce that by unticking some of the events, or will addon eat as much CPU/memory as on full capacity anyway?Definitely. It won't likely have a noticeable impact on your fps though, MSBT is already pretty light (as far as SCT addons can go). It's likely lighter than the default one.
Also Recount seems to be eating a lot (even turned of, not visible on the screen, but still gathering data ofc). Not much you can do about it but drop it.
/castsequence reset=20 charge, berserker stance, intercept, battle stanceThere is simply no way to make a reliable macro to combine those two. Yours is pretty close to the best. I've tried different ways to do it, and feel the best one is just having two separate macros:#showtooltip Charge
/use Charge;Battle Stance#showtooltip Intercept
/use Intercept;Berserker Stance

Great UI. Takes up 8mb. That's with me using recount, omen and MSBT.
/facepalm... the space it takes doesnt matter. I make just affect your loading screen. It is how the addons are programmed (what they call, how often they call it, etc) that affect your FPS.

Definitely Pitbull.

Technically speaking, the default UI is going to offer you the least drain on system resources simply due to the fact that frames are never actually garbage collected. Any unitframe addon is simply hiding the Blizzard frames and running on top of it :P

I cant get rid of Omen since i am tanking most of the time. Recount is usefull for pugs to see who is slacking.
Is there any way i can reload UI with and without Recount? I've heard of an addon doing this.
Gatherer, well i got lots of gathering proffesions, but at the time i probably remember the placement of mines/herbs on the world map already by heart (maybe beside WG).
Mikscrolling i gotta put some bigger filters on healing. Remove dodges/parries/misses ingoing, remove outgoing non crits i make, as i am mainly interested in the crits.

Just 3. Also PC is 5yo so new RAM wont fit in.
You should also start saving your pennies for a new machine, because this is just going to get worse.
I am, but still got some unexpected costs here and there, so i need to keep my savings for that purpouse.
Definitely Pitbull.

Default UI is way to small for our purpouses. Also its freaking annoying to show only percentages, doesnt have debuff timers, etc. I have cut most of the Xperl, not using its raid frames or anything. Just me, my taget, my targets target, focus, focus target, pet and pet target. Some buffs and debuffs on them.
K i installed Fubar, still searching for the plugins. Getting lua errors on Group fu and had to remove it.

If the default UI is too small, play with UI scale. Enable status text on all your frames to display actual values as opposed to percentages.
Near to patch 3.1, I decided I was using way too many AddOns, and went back to using much of the default UI -- those two specific things bugged me too.

Only command wont help me as i need to dsiable certain addons before doing so, and disabling them is only possible at picking character screen and i dont plan to relog every time i am going to go wg or raid.
Also ticking and unticking the addons will be kinda annoying.
The addon pasted above should help.

Power Auras: I've never used it, but from what I understand in most cases you can have MSBT serve whatever functions you need.
No way lol. MSBT is more of a filler. I like to know when i am being hit and for how much, and whats the nature of the spell, and when i crit for how much etc. I could probably live without it but i found myself feeling wierd after 2 y of using sct with default wow combat text after some patch.
Cooldowns in MSBT are very bad. They provide no visual icon that something is up. They provide no timer. Timers are essential. Plus MSBT works only on my cooldowns. Power auras i can configure for my buffs, debuffs and also enemy buffs, i can configure buff types, debuff types, whenever a skill is usable etc. No chance msbt can provide that much of information in that convenient way.
Tbh i think Power Auras is my most powerful addon atm.
Recount: If you need a meter try a lower profile one. I use Skada, but I'm not sure if it's less of a hog. Whatever meter you use though keep it clean.
Gotta check Skada. What do you mean by keeping it clean?
Outfitter: Drop it. Use in game Equipment Manager.
Again, IG Equipment Manager vs Outfitter is like a Volksvagen Beatle versus Porsche 911. I tried using it but it is so dumb i couldnt.
I am not quoting all the idiocies of it, i just quote one feature which its lacking and which is a must for me.
Stance automatic weapon swap.
Rating Buster: Never saw a real use for anything like this. If i need to stop to check converted values on an item's stats I come here and look it up.
You wont find this info on wowhead. You will need all the math info from wowwiki (how much agi is how much crit how much rating is how much crit how much int spirit etc) and a hefty calculator. I can see this $%^& already in game. No need even for simple adding, it summs it all up for me. Comparison too.
Auctioneer: Drop it. It's a huge hog. Most people myself included only need something as simple as Auctionlite or Auctionator.
I know its a hog. However default UI of AH is totally not usable.
Quartz: Pretty sure AZcastbars are easier on the resources. I play on a small screen as well and went from Quartz to AZcb to nothing. I can get by without it and it saves a hell of a lot of screen real estate. The oUF layout I use has the lag indicator on the castbar which was the most important part for me.
Quartz has it as well, also you can move, shrink and disable certain bars.
Gatherer: Drop it. Huge hog. Gathermate is a lower profile alternative. I've been using Carbonite lately as a merger for quest/node tracker.
I dont need quest tracker. I can read quests. Will those other addon support my current gatherer nodes?
Titan Panel: I'm not sure which functions you need, but most people nowadays run SLDT or some form of LDB setup like buttonbin or fortress +plugins of course. I prefer the one stop shop of SLDT though.
Already installed Fubar. Pretty content with its plugins, although some dont seem to be working as intended and a few i needed were producing lua errors so i had to get rid of them.
I hope that helps.
It will. Fresh look is always welcome.

There is also a command:
/console reloaduiStuff.Or you could use/run local name = "AddOnName" IsAddOnLoaded(name) and DisableAddOn("AddOnName") or EnableAddOn("AddOnName") ReloadUI()Toggles between enabling and disabling "AddOnName".

I don't know about ACP, but I've been using Ampere and had good experiences with it. May be another to look at.
