The great unbalance

For as long as I've been playing my toons at max level, I have always been aware of the unbalance in the pvp system, something that still persists even today.
A good friend I play with, whos in the same guild as me, playing his lv80 rogue, of recent he's been talking about how he too find the unbalance in the pvp system to be ridiculous, and something he can't ignore any longer. Its gotten so infact, one of my other guilds has gone from being a pvp rogue, to being a pve one, and it looks like my friend, who also play a shaman, priest and dk, is going to do the same.
So, I'm going to list the things I consider to be vastly unbalanced in pvp, since I to have found them to have unfair advantage in to so called balance of things
1: Paly bubble. This move is a cheap move and used as a cheat by paladins anywhere who think themselves leet for doing it. The bubble lets them still attack and kill someone, well said person needs to retreat for 12 seconds or die themselves. The damage reduction isn't enough to make any difference.
2: Night elf shadowmeld. In the growing aspect of warcraft having flight used in outland, northrend and soon azeorth, one things that is purely an unfair advantage to other races, is night elf druids using shadowmeld/flight form to escape.
3: Human 'every man for himself'. another racial that is put there as a free stun breaking trinket, meaning it doesn't matter if the human is with or without a trinket, he can still clear the stun effect unlike any other race.
Both the avoid examples are examples of blizzard giving more thought to alliance racials then horde ones.
4: Nerfing shamans thunderstorm when sapped: Well the effect can be used when stunned, when the shaman is sapped he is unable to use it. This change has forced any elemental shaman to use his pvp trinket well sapped, and then having them to be sapped again (and yet paladins can still use there bubbles well sapped). The one safety mechanic shamans had as elemental and having it removed was taking the ^&*!.
This is just a few things we talked about, if anything else comes up I'll add to it.
And keep the flaming to a minimum, you know its perfectly right to say when something is massively overpowered in pvp when someone has to smuggly say 'no it isn't' and then does some lol move in pvp after.

Sorry, but all I could see are the 4 times you used "well" instead of "while".

A Rogue complaining about PvP unbal- er, imbalance? Heh, that's
almost
funny.
1: Paly bubble. This move is a cheap move and used as a cheat by paladins anywhere who think themselves leet for doing it. A "cheap" move? Ageed. Overpowered or imbalanced? No. This isn't the only cooldown in the game where the response in most cases is to run away and try to survive till it's over. Bladestorm comes to mind. So does Cloak of Shadows vs casters (though that is a much shorter duration.) There are others. And there are two counters to the Pally bubble, while there is no counter to, say, Bladestorm.
2: Night elf shadowmeld. In the growing aspect of warcraft having flight used in outland, northrend and soon azeorth, one things that is purely an unfair advantage to other races, is night elf druids using shadowmeld/flight form to escape.
QQ post is sad. Seriously, you're complaining about Shadowmeld?
3: Human 'every man for himself'. another racial that is put there as a free stun breaking trinket, meaning it doesn't matter if the human is with or without a trinket, he can still clear the stun effect unlike any other race.
Some of the racials are imbalanced, agreed. (Not that this makes PvP as a whole imbalanced.) I believe Blizzard also agrees and I think I heard they are going to bring the racials more in line by the time of Cataclysm.
Both the avoid examples are examples of blizzard giving more thought to alliance racials then horde ones.
Sorry but I can't take it seriously when someone says Blizzard plays favorites to one faction or the other.
4: Nerfing shamans thunderstorm when sapped: Well the effect can be used when stunned, when the shaman is sapped he is unable to use it. -Not even close to being "the one safety" mechanic. In fact TS is very quirky and unreliable; it often fails to knock back Rogues for no apparent reason.
-Using TS during a Sap doesn't make sense anyway. The Rogue probably isn't in range to be hit by it, and it would be better saved for when I'm in a stunlock.
-What do you think other classes have to do to deal with Sap? You're not forced to break it every time; it's situational. Shamans are no better or worse off.
All in all (4) is just pure fail.
This is just a few things we talked about, if anything else comes up I'll add to it.
Yep, just a few random PvP complaints, nothing that comes close to suggesting that PvP on the whole is imbalanced. Also, you start off by saying your poor Rogue friend retreated to the world of PvE, but then complain that Shamans need more anti-Rogue abilities. So who is that's underpowered: Rogues? Shamans? both?

Crap goshadstep2lose, looks like you beat me to it, guess I just need to put my thoughts together faster. It also looks like you say about the exact same things as me.... Sigh, I fail
not at all; the human mind is designed to immediately dismiss dissenting views or opinions if they are presented by a single individual. Two well thought out replies have anywhere from twice to
x
times the effect that a single one would have
just keep on keeping on
Not just 2, but 3 well thought out replies, and plenty of support from the rest of the community, I'm sure.
Good posts guys, keep it up.

Personally I think tauren just wanted to complain about the alliance, over on the lore and roleplaying forums he's a pretty major horde fanboy

its almost funny because rogues haven't been overpowered for awhile. If this was a post from a year ago, yea it'd be funny
No one said they were overpowered.
