since he can always bubble for the initial burst on him, so Desperate prayer wouldn't be needed as much
Desperate prayer is a spell that is cast only on yourself.
It occurrs to me that we don't really have a resident regular PVP Priest here in this forum. Based on my very limited knowledge and experience in PVP,
here is my suggestion for modifications to your spec and rationale on why.
Divine Aegis is going to be far more valuable to you than Grace for PVP. People get so frustrated with shields.
Mana isn't going to be a huge issue for you unless you get burned (but that's going to be true of everyone), so you can remove points from
Meditation, which is for PVE not PVP.
I added the 3rd
glyph of PWS, which just makes sense in PVP.
aside from this, I've shifted points out of Spirit Tapping and into
Shadow Affinity and
Imp SWP, which should be more useful to you than regenerative talents. Your Rapture should be sufficient for you to keep up mana unless burned.
again, I have very limited PVP experience as a disco priest, so please someone else save me from embarrassment!

Hi, this is Zerul, 2070 or so rating in S6 with War/Priest. Not too high, but it's kind of a PITA to play this combo. I don't play anymore, but my info should still be pretty relevant.
Sorry, but Meditation is a necessity. Everyone maxes it because it is the only talent that gives you a meaningful amount of regen.
You absolutely need a .5s cast Mass Dispel. Having a whole extra second in your cast time makes it very easy to kick or pummel. Even if you fake cast to avoid the interruption, that means your bubbled/ice blocked foe gets to live that extra GCD longer.
For general purposes, a Priest's 3 best glyph slots are:
- Penance (for obvious reasons)
- Pain Suppression (a necessity against any double DPS with rogues), and still a great help against other classes cause everyone and their mom has a stun these days
- Inner Fire (improves personal survivability immensely against melee, which every team has)
But you seem to be going for a Disc + Burst DMG spec, which is actually very viable in 2s (and is really the only way to have a shot at killing those pesky druids)
Why not try Holy Fire + Smite spec?
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bxIruhMVRcoffktbLtc0bSwitch up the Inner Fire Glyph for the Smite spec and you'll deal incredible amounts of damage. If you happen to be a Troll, a Human with a haste trinket, or have any haste on-use powers through Engineering, you can deal some serious damage in a short amount of time. Holy Fire -> Smite -> SW:D if it's not plausible to cast a second Smite in time, and you could deal an incredible amount of damage, even against resil'd foes. Even with relatively low spell power (I had ~2000 when I played), your non-crit Smites will hit for around 3.5k if they got Holy Fire'd.
The Smite spec still gives you Desperate Prayer, Holy crit chance (for Divine Aegis, more damage, and just general spiky healing goodiness, inspiration), faster smite/holy fires, and Inspiration. Plus, the Holy school is a lot less susceptible to being resisted/absorbed.
