I realize that the main reason the forums are English-only is because multiple languages makes it harder for you to moderate; however, there are enough bilingual people in the community that this wouldn't be that much of a problem. If I see a Spanish topic that's spam/trolling I report it just like I do for English threads. If it's a legitimate question, I do remind them that's it's English only, but I still answer their question. I think forcing them to use a translator for their question then making them use a translator on the English answers they get back is just counterproductive.
Are there further reasons that you are disallowing other languages? And are there plans to incorporate other languages in the near future? It does say
por ahora
on the Spanish site after all.

I like your suggestion, but I do believe that the problem lies in liability.
In the end, a mod is a volunteer, and the admins are ultimately responsible for any events that occur on the forums, if the forum changed to another language and only mods are looking after it, it gets sued and a court gets involved, the admins, who do not have a perfect understanding of the events, are going to be held responsible.
