[Suggestion] NPCs on Zone Map

It often happens to me that I remember in which zone a NPC is and even where in the zone, but I don't remember the NPC's name.
If I could go to the zone page and mouse over the map to see where the NPC is it would be incredibly helpful.
You could also add a filter to it for Horde friendly or Undead only or Rare mobs only, ect.
Pretty much the same way you can search for quests in a zone through the zone map.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this sort of feature

While this does sound cool and all, if you can remember your zone (aka level range) reaction type, mob type, why not just use the NPC filter?

The thing that gave me this idea was that a little while ago I wanted to find the undead troll NPCs in Zul'Mashar in the Eastern Plaguelands.
How am I supposed to use the NPC filter for that?
There are tons of undead level 55-60 hostile mobs in the Eastern Plaguelands.
Besides, it's easier and faster this way.

There's 53 NPC's using the original criteria.
And your trolls in Zul'Mashar.
They're not Undead.

Also, anther way to tell is that most undead trolls are pickpocketable.

I didn't know that.
But what I
did
know was their location.
And thats why I want this feature.
Besides, it's easier and faster this way.

And I'm not disagreeing with you, just giving you tips and tricks on using the filter.

So why aren't any mods or admins replying to my suggestion? :/

Be patient.
Besides, even if they don't answer you doesn't mean they haven't seen it.

I'm used to mods and admins replying quickly to the threads in the Site Feedback forums.

I think I've seen threads answered after 21 days, but that might be an exaggeration due to memory.

Well, a month has passed by, and yet still there is no reply.
Why is that, blademeld?

Wildhorn
Because they have more important things to do than replying to a thread just to say:
"We read it and put it on our 10 kilometers long to-do-list".

Then why do they do that to any other suggestion?

Because they only reply to important people. You are not important.
Seriously... does it matter that much that they reply to you? It wont change the fact that your suggestion wont be added any time soon anyway.

Completely off topic, but I'm amazed at how much trolling the wowhead staff is willing to tolerate for a measly 3.33$ a month.

I'll just ignore the first thing you said because basically it's just stupid.
And it does matter to me that they reply, I'd rather have them say "That's a horrible idea, there's no way we'll do that" than not reply at all.
At least then I'd know whats going on.

Idea is not bad, but they have 1 millions more important things to add than a feature that wont be used that much often.

There is a difference between trolling and telling the truth without a sugarcoating around it to make you swallow it without pain.

Just because we don't reply doesn't mean we aren't reading and noting your suggestions. Next time, try not to bump threads just because we haven't posted a reply in it.
