((alrighty, cool))
Character: Nuhm Voidcaller
Location: Shattrath
Description: Nuhm is a tall, lanky blood elven warlock. He is very vain and spends a lot of time to look good, but it works well. His hair is jet black, tied up in a foxtail, with stray strands always flicking in his eyes. He has large, old scars across his back and hips, and green and purple demonic runes carved into his shoulders and chest. His robes are red, black and golden. Nuhm is a self-centered, feminine, high maintenance ladies man. He is afraid of commitment due to a traumatic event regarding a female night elf, and because of this flirts, drinks and fools around a lot, never to see the woman again. He is charming and flirtatious, but hides many dark secrets. He has chosen to ally with the Aldor, as he loves cross faction relations and is interested in learning more.
His succubus’ name is Synne, and they treat each other as toys, unable to see past anything that is purely physical. She is cunning and flirty, but !@#$%y to strangers. His Felguard’s name is Arakashak, and he and Nuhm are good friends. Arakashak’s customs may be different and he may not understand mortal feelings, but he tries to relate the best he can. He is funny, but is very protective of Nuhm.
((Synne and Araka are the two demons that will be seen with Nuhm the most; if I use anything else I’ll just describe them then.))
~~~
Nuhm closed his eyes and jumped through the portal that would take him to Shattrath. The familiar sucking and pulling feeling gave him a headache, but he would rather get teleported by a mage than take the long flight from Blade’s Edge. When he opened his eyes, he was greeted by the golds, greys and blues of Shattrath City. He studied his surroundings quickly noticing all the females in the area, hoping he would meet up with at least one of them in the near future. He summoned Synne, who appeared out of the shadows.
“Hello, master,” she said seductively, her voice dripping. Nuhm licked his lips and pulled her into an embrace. She looked into the sky for a moment, noticing an incubus and a human flying above them, kissing. “Hmm, maybe we should follow their example, Master.”
He kissed her, a deep kiss that was purely physical want. Pulling away after a few seconds, he whistled for his pink hawkstrider, Strawberry, and the two headed off towards the World’s End Tavern. It was still pretty early in the day, but not early enough to stop the warlock from having a drink.
"Can I have three bottles of light beer, please?" he winked to the waitress as he settled on a bar stool two seats over from a human, with Synne beside him. The waitress handed him the beers, and he passed two over to the succubus, and setting the other one on the counter. She looked at him with a you're-so-pathetic look, and then popped the tops of the beers off with her nails, handing one over to him and taking a sip of her own. "Thanks love, didn't want to wreck the manicure that I just got... those things cost a bloody fortune," he chuckled, and she rolled her eyes.
"Look over there," she said, pointing towards a human with an incubus. "Aren't the dreamy?" she sighed.
Nuhm turned and looked, raising his eyebrows as the incubus leaned down and kissed the human. "Yummy," he said, looking at the female and taking a sip of his beer.
Character: Forlon Mording
Location: Shattrath City
Forlon is a human death knight, his eyes glowing a cold icy blue always with a slight hatred towards others. His past was something which was wiped away, thinking it was irrelevant to try and search deeper into something that didn't matter now. His hair is a silver color, his body looking still alive since he had only died due to poisoning as far as he knew.
"Hmph," Forlon muttered, walking into Shattrath and seeing the Naaru.
"Pathetic waste of time this is," Forlon muttered, hating that he was reassigned by the Ebon Blade to become an overseer of Shattrath so he could report back with any changes in the Alliance and Horde forces.
He walked forward and left the large center of Shattrath, heading towards the lower city to begin analyzing and evaluating the current state of the city.
"Lots of rats in the city today." Masra grumbled, taking a seat on the edge of cobblestones outside of the inn. He looked up and smiled, seeing a group of children run past him.
Well, that's good sight... too bad their orphans.
Masra thought to himself and leaned back on top his elbows, enjoying the sun and the light today.
"That's just weird." A female voice said and Sylos quickly turned around to see a blood elf with long blonde hair and wearing blue robs.
"When did you get here Demine... where's my dear chaos." he said as she sat next to him and ordered a drink.
"Your nether drake is outside with the other drakes she doesn't meet much of here other kind." She replied taking a drink of here beer.
"Sorry for freaking out master I'm not fond of..." Is all his imp could say before stopping dead as soon as he saw the succubus sitting at the bar.
Forlon reached the lower city, seeing refugees scattered left and right, much of the city dirty and filthy.
"I've seen worse," Forlon said, walking around and searching each building one by one, making his way down the district.
Nuhm flashed a brilliant smile at her. "Not unless that demon of yours gives you permission," he chuckled lightly, running his eyes up and down her quickly. He finished the rest of his beer and Synne handed him the second bottle, already opened. "You must have had Lady Luck on your side to get tethered to a Mistress like that," he added to the Incubus with a wink.
Synne bit her lip and continued to stare at the Incubus, very curious. She had never seen a male of her species... was he of her species? She longed to ask, but by the look in the human's eyes Synne decided it would be better to stay with her master. She finally pried her eyes away, leaning towards Nuhm and tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.
Masra Breaker
"What in the world?" Masra muttered, looking up and seeing a strange human walking along. He raised an eyebrow as he saw a few of the refugee's flinch away from the human, and actually saw a few run from him.
"Pardon me, Vindicator Masra?" A voice asked, and he looked down into the face of a young Broken. "Yes my friend?" Masra said, smiling at the youngling and taking the letter he offered him. "Thank you. Here." He said, tipping the lad a few gold which caused the Broken to smile, bow and run off quickly.
Masra read the scroll quickly and swore. "Damn it. They're off dealing with what's left of the Blood Elves of Kael'thas.... and I'm stuck here?" Masra growled, and leaned back again wondering what he would do next.
Character: Kitanga
Location: Shattrath
Kitanga sat outside the basic hospice, in the process of healing a Tauren who had been gravely injured by the Legion. She glanced up at a number of Mag'har children and gave a small smile. She had been able to quiet the voices slightly. At least if she remained focused it wasn't as bad.
Then a draenei girl walked past, her eyes seeming almost dead in their lack of emotion.
"I wonder how long she's been alone," Kitanga mumbled.
"Huh?" The Tauren she was healing asked.
Kitanga shook her head. "This is an unhappy place..." She answered, lowering her head as she continued to heal.
"I do not think so," The Tauren answered. "I see it as a place of healing. A small bubble of peace on this hell of a world."
Kitanga glanced up at the large warrior. It was obvious he had seen far more winters than she, and he appeared blind in one eye.
"I suppose," Kitanga answered, sighing. "But the dead do not know peace here. And so I do not."
"I understand," The Tauren nodded. "I have never pretended to understand the world that you shaman see... But without hope, how can you live? What happened here was not
your
fault. There is no need to punish yourself."
Kitanga sighed. He was right. But she couldn't stop the feeling of pain and guilt for the horrors here. The shame that she had inherited.
"Well, I'm ready to return to the fight now," The Tauren smiled, glancing at the scars that had been open wounds minutes ago. Kitanga had barely realized she had finished. "I am Shu'mo. I hope to meet with you again," He smiled, "Farewell, shaman."
Character: Forlon Mording
Location: Shattrath City
Forlon saw a suspicious looking orc sitting nearby, a hood covering his face and holding a medallion.
"What do we have here," Forlon said, walking up to the orc.
"Leave me human," the orc barked back.
"Tsk tsk," Forlon said, letting a shadowy hand reach out and grab the orc by the neck. The orc tried to yell, though the dark magic choking him out.
"Just as I suspected, you burning legion warlock," Forlon said, causing pain to the warlock, enjoying watching the traitor gasp for air.
"You'll not be roaming around when I'm here," Forlon said, getting closer and closer to the warlock.
"Life is meaningless, it is in death that we are truly tested," Forlon whispered, snapping the orc's neck.
Character:
Vindicator Curaar
Location:
Aldor Rise, Shattrath City
Description:
Curaar is a powerful paladin. He fought in the original battle of Shattrath and was lucky enough to have survived. He stayed behind in the ruined city when it had fallen, and lived with the Aldor priesthood. When the Sha'tar arrived Curaar was filled with renewed hope and he helped rebuild the city.
When Kael'thas' army approached to destroy city, Curaar stood in line waiting to strike at the elves. He was confused when they laid down their arms and angered when Adal had accepted them into this holy city.
Curaar has never forgiven the orcs for their past atrocities and cannot stand the sight of them or the Blood Elves. But as times progress seen how they have changed, even though they have hurt him, he can be willing to accept them if they can convince them they are meaningfully sorry.
Standing around 7 foot and 4 inches Curaar wields a large two handed mace that has lasted him a long time. A powerful foe in battle, but a good and kind hearted to those who have not hurt him in the past. Curaar spends most of his spare time at the orphanage telling heroic tales to the young children, aiming to bring light into their sad lives.
-------------------------
Curaar headed towards the elevator on his elekk, Irontusk. When he reached it, he looked over the now peaceful city and remembered the past, like water from a breaking dam the memories flooded back to him, the blood, the fire, the screams for help and the cries of anguish.
Curaar was disturbed from his thoughts when the elevator hit the ground, Irontusk moved forward onto the bridge.
I think a visit to the orphanage will be good today
Curaar thought, as he steered Irontusk towards the Lower City.
"Pathetic wretch," Forlon muttered, dropping the orc to the ground lifeless. He left the spot in the shadows and resumed his patrol, noticing a large tavern ahead.
