Change to story of humankind - We didn't evolve from apes!

I'll start with "Why all the mistakes and inefficiencies?"
Examples . . .?
One of the commonest genes we have is for a protein called "reverse transcriptase", which has no known beneficial function in human beings at all. The one thing it
does
do is make it possible for retroviruses, such as HIV, to slip un-noticed into the human system.

Our bodies require a large number of amino acids in order to function. However the only one we produce ourselves is vitamin D. How come other organisms on earth can make them and we can't?
Why do we require ground up bits of rock in our diet to survive?
How come a 5degree change in our body temperature from 37degrees kills us yet the temperature range on planet earth is so much greater?
Why do we have genes that do nothing that produce proteins that have no function in the body?
How come we use multiple genes to conduct multiple stage chemical reactions in our bodies when I can do it in a lab in one step?
How come our genes change from generation to generation if you created us?
Micro-evolution.
How come we waste so much energy as heat?
Exothermic processes by their very nature release heat.
How come high levels of heavy metals in our diet kills us yet we have no way to remove them from our bodies except through bits falling off?
What?
Why do the lyrics to a britney spears song match part of my genome? (i'm not lying, I remember doing it in class)
Because you can only put out so much $%^&ty music before it matches something in real life
Why two sexes?
Why not? Species that sexually reproduce have a much higher survival rate than one that asexually reproduce, especially at a macrobiological level.
How come if males have XY genes and females have XX genes, you occasionally get people with X, XXY and XXX combinations?
Mutation, always cause by some external force.
How come women have more genes than men but men use more?
We don't know the exact number of genes in the human yet.
How come there are more women in the world than men?
Men have a slightly lower life expectancy because men on average do slightly more dangerous stuff than women.
What the HELL are viruses?
Think of them as microscopic robots.
Can I have a cookie?
No

(You might have known that already but moving on)
Yeah, I did. I meant, "add to your list on things that don't really seem to make sense if one rejects evolution."

Why cant we all just believe some old white guy with a beard that lives in a cloud created us.
God is the only thing you need my friends.

Yes, but why so much of it? So much in fact that many of the enzymes in our body do not function at their highest efficiency.
What?
Heavy metals such as lead and vanadium build up in our system natuarally over time. The only way our body can remove them from our system is through deposits in our hair and nails. This is done far too slowly to be anywhere near effective. In other words it would be impossible for us to live long periods of time (going for a figure of over 500 years but no clue what the upper limit would be) due to heavy metal poisioning.
Why not? Species that sexually reproduce have a much higher survival rate than one that asexually reproduce, especially at a macrobiological level.
Why not have 3 sexes, or 4? That massively increases genetic diversity.
Mutation, always cause by some external force.
Actually problems in chromosmal, which is different. Which raises the question of why God didn't better protect my man bits?
We don't know the exact number of genes in the human yet.
We have a fairly good estimate. And that wasn't exactly what I was asking. Females have two X chromosomes. One of which is almost comepletely silenced during development. Males have an X and Y. Neither of which is silenced. Even tho the Y chromosome is significantly smaller than the Y it still leaves the male with more active genes than the female.
Think of them as microscopic robots.
So why did God create them then?
No
Well you're an angry angry god aren't you?
More questions:
Why do we grow scales and feathers at certain stages during gestation only to have them removed at later stages?
(rephrasing of a different question) How come more women are born in the world than men? (excluding the influence of the chinese...which is godawful but that's for another discussion)
@Deepthought
Good catch on the reverse transcriptase. I remember studying that in my final exams and wondering that exact thing.
Essentially I getting from from you is why didn't God create heaven on earth?
Why bodies at all? We could be angels, with no bodily problems.
And secondly, if you flip a coin 100 billion times you're bound to get quite a few streaks. More females being born than males is a recent development.
Why cant we all just believe some old white guy with a beard that lives in a cloud created us.
God is the only thing you need my friends.
And why do people feel the need to satirize the other side of the debate. In my experience that's usually a last resort.

If we're built in God's image, why are we built in such a flawed way? That's the question you need to ask yourself. Are you saying we were intentionally given things that have no function merely to be there, and some things that have no function that are there to be used against us by various diseases? Your god is a sick bastard.

Again using terms you don't understand. Do you really think "made in God's image" means that God has a body? It means we have intelligence and will, which none of the other animals have.
Everything changes, so our bodies have to change too. It's called micro-evolution.
And if anything we're the cause of most of the more recent changes.

Recent development? Ummm....evidence? There are more females than males being born in every country in the world where data can be collected with the exception of China.
ref:
http://www.indexmundi.com/world/sex_ratio.html
(I'd go into the CIA world factbook but I don't know my way around there too well)
I can throw numbers at you too:
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr53/nvsr53_20.pdf
-- "For the 63d year in a row, the number of boys born in the United States outnumbers births of girls"
And I just looked at your link....it agrees with me.... "Sex ratio: at birth: 1.07 male(s)/female"
Do you even know how to calculate ratios?

So what inspired God to build us with such a feeble body then?
And what makes you think you can choose what to take literally and what to take figuratively?

Ummm the "made in gods image" thing was changed quite recently from a literal translation to one meaning "made in the image god came up with".
Ummmm what?
צֶלֶם אֱלֹהִים
means image of God....there's no "changing" it.
Could you explain how micro-evolution to me because by the sound of it you think we're following basic chaos theory and are going to eventually dissolve into nothing?

Well it depends if you believe in evolution or not. Would you like a creationist or an evolutionist answer?
And what makes you think you can choose what to take literally and what to take figuratively?
I am taking image of God figuratively. If I weren't I'd have said we are demigods.

Why would I quote something I'm linking to? That would be redundant. The quote is from another CDC page:

Either, or both. I'd just like to know how anyone rationalizes some divine entity making something in the image of himself, but said image being so flawed.
I am taking image of God figuratively. If I weren't I'd have said we are demigods.
You did not answer my question. What makes you think you can choose what to take literally and what to take figuratively?

Thank you for that information. Only just got the chance to read the graphs which were a bit of a pain to read, but none the less. It still just causes me to swap the the question to "why more males than females?" At least now I won't get a raised eyebrow.
Excusing your smartass comment, as i've stated above the recent world ratios are still massively scewed due to world traditional practices. In other words the world average ratio would be weighted to the male side. I knew that before even posting the link.
63rd year in a row means that 64 years ago girls were ahead
...it's called probability.
And smartass or not, the first number on the page was confirmation of my position.
