"The human king isn't much better..." Themra added, sharpening her arrowheads on a sharpening stone. "Deathwing would be over and gone if those two could forget their stupid grudges and get down to business," she grumbled. "But yeah, I'm always up for hunting. It's what I do, after all..." she chuckled.

"Always..." Themra grinned, whistling for Blackwind. "What are you feeling like? Stag? Bear?"
She quickly replaced her arrows into her quiver and the shrapening stone into a pouch on her belt.

"Alright," Themra nodded with a smile. "First beast we can take down."
She began walking north into one of the few areas that remained forested, Howlbane following behind her.
"Hope you don't blame
me
for the deforestation..." she whispered, trying to make conversation as she examined a set of deer tracks. "I'm just as angered as you are. Not all orcs are like Hellscream. People forget that."

"Good," Themra smiled, letting Blackwind follow the deer's scent. "Most
people
I've met can't help but judge others based on race. And, no offense, but the Alliance usually tends to be worst about that. At least, compared to
Thrall's
Horde..."
She continued up the trail and finally spotted the deer, a large buck, ripe for the killing.
"Also..." she whispered, trying not to alert the stag as she leveled her shot. "You might wanna ask that bird again and make sure the bear doesn't have cubs. I'm not killing a mother."
Finally she fired, the arrow flying from her bow directly through the deer's skull.
"Excellent," she grinned, standing and moving to the deer, removing her knife and slitting its throat to drain the blood and confirm the kill.

"Thank you," Themra replied, smiling as she performed a mock bow. "And I've met some good humans and other Alliance citizens, but so many of them just think 'Oh, it's an orc. She must love to kill and start fights. I'd better steer clear of her...' or worse... That's part of the reason I love the beasts so much. Beasts do not lie. Beasts do not judge. They're very straightforward."
She hefted the exsanguinated buck over her shoulder and followed Howlbane to the bear's den.
"What do you think? Salt or smoke the stag and eat the bear sooner? Or vice versa? There's going to be a lot more bear than venison."

"Yep," Themra nodded. "And let's hope we don't have to deal with that damned symbols again soon..." she chuckled. "Next time we'll end up at the bottom of the ocean, or the middle of the Twisting Nether."

"Hmm?" Themra glanced up. "Oh... Honestly, I'm not sure. Last I heard he had gone with High Overlord Saurfang to... somewhere. He won't follow Garrosh, but he can't leave the Horde either. I suppose he's comprimising by working directly under the High Overlord. Haven't heard from him since then," she finished, looking down again. She did miss her father, but she had spent so much time away from people, it hardly felt unusual for him to be gone. She wondered if she was growing too distant. She'd definitely have to send him a letter soon.

"Alright, so we've finally got this all settled?" Tahlia asked, stretching as she looked around at the 6, Feng, and the 5 chosen Geomancers who would speak for the others. "Yes Magus. The Geomancers will be trained by both Covenant and Sunreaver mages, so that they can begin learning not just the Arcane, but also things about the Horde and the Alliance." Archmagus Rhonin said, looking over at the leader of the Sunreavers who nodded.
"Then, if no one has any objections, I need some sleep." Tahlia said, standing and leaving the room quickly, wanting to get away from the other's before she went mad.
You'd think it wouldn't need a full night of discussion to clear something easy up.
She thought to herself, knowing that Proudmoore had wanted to speak with Feng after the meeting.

Tova padded back towards he left the others, his belly full, and his mind fairly clear. The savagekin looked around as he moved, making sure there weren't any Warsong scouts or Outrider's anywhere nearby.

Themra and Howlbane finally arrived back at camp, Themra cleaning and butchering the bear while Howlbane prepared the buck for cooking.
Themra noticed the Grok looking hungrily at the food, decided that he at least deserved to eat somthing, and tossed him a piece of salted giraffe from her food pouch.
"I can't reach it, idiot. I'm tied up, remember?" the Outrider called out.
Themra had forgotten that detail, and picked the meat up, dusted it off, and popped it into the Outrider's mouth.
"Big baby..." she muttered. "Maybe if you're cooperative you can have something fresher soon," she added, returning to the butchering.

Tova entered the camp, shifting into elf form as he did and looked around, seeing the Huntress and the shaman preparing the food. He nodded at both and moved to the other side of camp, taking a seat near Av'ka and Brokenclaw who were still asleep. He looked down at the Druidess with a fond smile before picking up a branch and pulling small knife out of his pouches and settled in to shape the wood.

"Huh..." Themra grunted, glancing at Tova before rending another cut of meat from bone. "Never seen a... huh..." she paused, grunting as she broke a joint and tore a leg free from the rest of the body. "...a druid who was into wordworking. Always figured you guys would see that as desecrating a corpse..." she paused again, cutting a small piece of raw meat from the leg and popping it into her mouth. "...or something like that," she finished, swallowing and returning to the butchery.

"Question for you Huntress; when you kill an animal, you use all correct? The skin for clothing, the meat for food, the bones for arrows and the like?" He asked, looking over at her then went back to his carving. "The branch was lightening struck, fell off during a storm. I did not cut it free from the tree. While I could leave it to rot and give rebirth to the earth, my carving's help to make me feel better, so I believe the tree would understand." He told her then chuckled.
"Besides, we do use wood to build our homes and the like if there is not a suitable tree to turn into a home. But we rarely take new ones, prefering to use dead wood and the like."

"Yeah, I see where you're coming from..." Themra answered, nearly finished seperating the bear into individual cuts. "You must forgive my curiosity, I have not known many druids."

"It is fine, I have not met many orcs like you Huntress." Tova told her, looking at the shape of his carving before beginning again. "Feel free to ask whatever you wish, and if I won't answer the question, I will tell you so."
