Yup; and Gnomes have roughly the same life span too. Humans, Worgens, Trolls, Orcs and Taurens are the short lifes of the Warcraft universe for the playable races.
I dunno about taurens. Their lifespan seems a tad larger than your average human.
Most humans after they're pushing 80 are just old dotards (not related to DOTA, this is an actual word :P Look it up) that can barely stand. Cairne was 99 and was badass enough to put garrosh, a much more younger, faster, and stronger than him, up against the wall (if it wasn't for the poison everyone knows Cairne would had won that fight)
Taurens seem to live a little more than the humans. And I highly doubt Trolls are short-lived due to their regen. If they can grow back lost limbs, i can see them delaying the natural aging for a while. Of course they're nowhere near the league of elves and much less draenei in terms of longevity, but they should be vastly ahead of humans and orcs due to their regeneration.
Come on, Vol'jin took enough poison to liquefy his entrails and he still lived due to his regen.

Lifespan's Rank
; and I stand corrected in regards to Tauren.

that table seems a little fishy.
Humans are considered adults at 15 years old? if that's the case, why is everyone calling Anduin a kid? he's already 15. Plus how come 50 years is considered Old already?
Then there's the orcs. I thought orcs reached adulthood at 12 (and reach their maximum height after 6 or 8 years old) as that's when they do (or rather, did, I dunno if the modern horde does the old rituals of the mag'har orcs) their rite of passage into adulthood. But that table says they're considered adults at 18.
I smell rat.

Not to mention the tauren are huge, and as trends go in RL, the bigger something is, the longer it lives. The only exception being humans, who have I think similar life spans to elephants.
And that would only be because of our cultural and scientific advancement. So yeah; combine the two factors and you're looking at quite the lifespan.

^ Thrall was born near the end of the First War, by the time he had broken out of Durnholde he was described as being a young adult, He was anywhere from eighteen to twenty at the time. (Give or take a year based on the timeline.)That's where that came from Rank; which was before Rise of the Horde came out when they stated using fel magic to force age the children to 12 to start the training for war; but even then they don't say that they are considered actually adults. However, Thrall's mother was in her late teens when she underwent her own rite of passage; it's more of the lore moving at this point.
As for the Human thing; if they are working off the idea of the middle ages, you were a man a lot sooner back then.
And it does state in the open paragraph that they took things from the confirmed canon information.

But if that's the case, why is Anduin called, and treated like, a kid by just about everyone? if he's already an adult, it doesn't make much sense that he's not treated like one. Sure one may go off the excuse that they're mostly intimidated by his status as royalty, but Arthas was treated like an adult despite being the prince.

Not when he was 15 though; and don't forget that this is Anduin's first real mission off by himself and not in the safety of Stormwind, and as he's the only heir to the throne, that may be the other thing they are worried about.

Well and you have to remember, it wasn't Metzen who wrote the RPG books. In most cases, they just handed the rights to some fantasy writer and said "Here, make lore."

Of course, parts of the RPG books are slowly becoming semi-canon....if Blizzard wants it to be anyways.

So, the next raid on 5.2 is gonna be the mandatory
troll raid
Interesting.
But..... does this means the alliance and horde will put a stop to hostilities so soon? doubtful, but who knows.

NOOO.
WHYYY MANDATORY TROLL RAID, WHY.
I thought they filled that quota by shoving the troll boss in Mogu'shan... I WAS WRONG.This one actually has the potential to be kind of interesting.
