Top row is Garland and Exdeath, bottom row is Golbez and Gabaranth. And since Golbez is the ultimate spy....meh heh.

I'm pretty sure he's the villain from FF1. Chaos I think?
Yes and no. It's actually Garland, who becomes Chaos.
Well, as we find out from the prequel, he's the 'fake' Chaos....the real one was far worse.

Since we're talking about final fantasy a little bit, I'll just say that
this
little easter egg in Deus Ex Human Revolution made me laugh a bit.
Not so surprising since this game was co-developed by Square-Enix, there's also a boss that has a minigun integrated to his left hand, and is named Barret :P
What I do wonder is if when we get there in real life, will they use that protagonist? I'll sure laugh out loud if they do.

You know what I dont get? How are elementals, as you see in deepholm with earth elementals, able to reproduce?
Ever hear of erosion?
EDIT: In all honesty, though, it scientifically isn't possible for something like the centaur to have happened. I suppose we just have to chalk this one up to magic.

I wonder this as well. Perhaps they don't. It could be that the elemental lieutenants endow a certain amount of whatever element they are with a rudimentary intelligence?
E: Win, Morec. Pure win.

One of three ways:
1. They spontaneously come into existence, and are just created as needed.
2. Other Elementals forge them; the Lords and the other higher up ones can just build new ones whenever they want, by using the Elements.
3. Other powers(Old God, Titan, Legion) change and corrupt existing ones and turn them into new version of them.
And both the Earthen and the Stone Troggs were forged; first by the Titans, then by themselves; they didn't start the mating till the curse of Flesh kicked in and they had fleshy bits down there to enjoy.
As for a mating between a Princess of an Elemental Lord and a Demi-God....well, it's in the name. And the Centaurs are a corrupted race too.

You know what is also wierd? I recall one of the earth giants in deepholm saying he can feel it (don't remember what "it" was) in his bones, and there are trogg skulls in trogg towns in deepholm. Apparently, earth elementals have bones too.....
You are taking things way too literally again.

And? Where the head is made of flesh or bone, could still be called a skull.

They originally intended to make it a sword, but changed their mind at the last minute?
