What I meant was making a story that is about the ancestor of one of your characters, but other than being distant relatives, they have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Basically, it'd just be a story about the life of one of your characters ancient ancestors, I didn't mean they'd know each other somehow.
Your character would have nothing to do with the story other than being a distant descendant. It's not like your character is writing the story about their ancestor lol.
I agree, that would be an interesting story. Hell, maybe there could even be some implications - found via acheological digs - that could be used to shape that character (whether or not they understand what they found directly belonged to a distance ancsetor or not being irrelivant, or not).
hi wowhead users
im korea deathwing warrior user
now i find thrall's armor (before catacysm)
i find out part of thrall's armor leg and feet but another item was not found...
plz help me i need some tips ㅠ_ㅠ
I'm sorry, but I do not understand the point you are trying to get across. :(
He's looking for armor that looks like Thrall's pre-cata gear.
And sorry Pas, can't help you there.
Doublepost just to separate the two.
In response to the thread about Thassarian that I refuse to enter, why would the Alliance accept Death Knights in to their ranks, but didn't even lift a finger to help their Forsaken brethren?
Because the Death Knights were vouched for by Tirion - a still-living hero of the Alliance. At the time the Forsaken and Alliance were meeting, Tirion didn't care abou the world and so didn't do anything (he'd pretty much dropped off the map). So, the Alliance decided that the best way to help their undead (read: cursed and evil bretheren) was to kill them. That, and they couldn't tell them apart from the Scourge.

Well the first thing we have to consider would be the fact that the Forsaken were seeking acceptance from people who had just survived a war that nearly wiped them out. But more importantly, in terms of the other human nations the simple fact is that Lordaeron was very far away from any human kingdom that could (or would for Gilneas) aid them even if they wanted to. Stormwind was the only one at that point but was situated at the other end of the continent and still rebuilding itself (not to mention problems via Onyxia).
It could have been an elaborate ruse by Arthas, Sylvanas having been one of his top commanders. The tragedies from the Scourge was still very fresh in people's minds and the idea of bringing in an army that could well still be under the Lich King's sway would not be well received by any power. Keep in mind the Horde at that time had very little in terms of large scale contact with the Scourge, and were primarily on another continent anyway so allying with the Forsaken was a reasonable gamble.
Third, and most importantly, the Forsaken had already betrayed the Alliance when Sylvanas killed Garithos of her own free will. Sure he was a racist bigot but she still killed him after she had what she needed, not exactly great move in terms if one is trying to establish public relations with a faction.
Now, the difference with Death Knights is that for one, there are a lot less of them. Integrating them with the common populace may not go over well, but there are few enough that it's relatively alright for them to do it without the leaders putting themselves in a position of immense backlash. Stormwind, as the last huge human nation, is now firmly established in terms of power and strength so could easily crush the death knights if they turned on them and since Tirion advocated them the prospect of them still being beholden to the Lich King wasn't much of an issue in the first place, the Forsaken having no one of repute to do so. Now that the Lich King is gone that fear is placated completely.
Hope that cleared it up somewhat.

Aye; it's all about who backed them to get them in. Varian was a little angry that a member of the 'Scourge' had just walked into his city, but once he read the letter, he was willing to give them a chance.
The Forsaken...well, they were met with fear and anger because of what they were, and Sylvanas choose a different route from the DK's. And even they had problems to get into the Horde; quite a few of the original Forsaken messengers to Orgrimmar were killed out of hand because they were thought to be Scourge; finally took Magtha to get them in....

Where was that comic with Garrosh and Sylvannas in the Gilnean church? It pretty much sums up all post-cata interaction betwen horde and undead...

Worgen aren't smelly rotted corpses tho, and are also sexy, *flexes*. Only sexy people are allowed in the alliance, and rotted zombies unfortunately are just not sexy :(
So the gnomes... ?

We've had a few contributors return. Now if only we could get back the ones we liked...
Heh, I jest.

Didn't the Earthen Ring also interfere in favor of the Forsaken? I know Magatha was the one that sealed the deal but IIRC the Earthen Ring compared their plight to the fel orcs' plight which convinced Thrall to let them in.
If it was in a RPG book, its debateable. If not; where did you read that?
