Heh, yeah, she is one of my favorite Warcraft fan artists, plus again, she's the same one who writes Safe Passage on wow.com.

Yeah, she's got a lot of good work. One of my favorites is a parody of a parody of The Bridge of Death from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Uludarian Proto-drakes XD

Keep Roleplay Alive
Blackwing Descent and the Prestor Legacy
Quick recap of the Night Elf chapter of Frozen Throne.
So, running the Arcatraz for rep, and ran into the room with the three Eredar mobs before the Shivarra and Wrathguard boss room, and just noticed this piece of conversation:
Eredar Deathbringer says: My portal creation spells do not appear to work here. The damned naaru constructed this place well.
Explains why the Blood Elves didn't just mass summon in demons to the Tempest Keep to start feeding off them. Wonder though, if the Naaru could spread that tech out to make more 'true' safe spots from the Legion, or if they could even alter it to create shields around planets?

Possibly, but I think that the reason that portals may not be able to be used isn't so much a spell or single device in the keep but the crystaline-construction of the keep itself. They would have to cover planets with near-infinite numbers of crystals.

Lol, "near-infinite."

Eh, not really near infinite; just a few large facilities like the TK ships around the world, and figure out some way to combine them into a web to protect the world.

Too lazy to count, or even give a ball-park number.

But that's assuming that it creates an aura that effects the outside. The way I read into it is that the construction of the keep and its sattelites only effects the inside and, maybe, immediate outside area. Not infinite, but too damn large to be praticle; after all we don't even know what kind of crystals the keeps are made of.

That's why I said figure out a way to combine them into a web. And considering the finale quest line of Bloodmyst, where
Sironas
and the Blood Elves are trying to use the remains of the Exodar's Vector Coil in some great spell, says that the crystals have a wide variety of uses.
And of course, it would mean that Azuremyst is the safest place on Azeroth to go to during the events of a Legion attack heh.

Too lazy to count, or even give a ball-park number.I'm just saying, "near-infinite" is an oxymoron... :P
(One that I myself have caught myself using far too often... >_>)
And Adams, what Morec is saying is that it's possible that the crystals don't exude some sort of anti-portal aura, but rather that the crystals themselves have some kind of physical/magical property that makes it so that when one is inside a structure composed of the crystal, a portal cannot connect with its mate on the outside.
It may not be possible to make any sort of web structure.

Heh, I know, just saying, if they could ever figure it out and could spread it across a world, would make it impossible for the Legion to attack Azeroth or Outland....though, would completely remove all Demon spec'ed warlocks as well heh, as they would be unable to summon minions in.

And, by extent, prevent them from metamorphing?

Don't know; depends on if the Metamorph comes from without instead of within. Was originally going to put they might be cut off from their powers, but then remembered that the Demons in the Arc can still use their abilities.

I wont lie: I'm not going to read that on principle.

Modera for Leader of the Kirin Tor! ...I really do not understand why they didn't get one of the other Six to step in after Antonidas' death, it would be more logical and lead to more stability. One of the many elements of Rhonin that I dislike, surprisingly.

I just had an ephiphany, chromie sends you to remove the shrouds over crates of grain in CoS, why would the infinit want to encourage the spread of plague?Because if Arthas never found the plagued grain, he'd never become the Lich King?
Just a 4 AM guess.

That's the exact explanation given by said gnome/dragon, but it wouldn't surprise me if, maybe, there was something far more insideous involved. I myself am still confused as to what the hell they're trying to achive.
