It would surely have been recorrupted when Darion wielded it in undeath, though. I can't see an undead holding the Ashbringer for much longer than a microsecond.
He was using the uncorrupted version all through the starting zone heh.

Last scene of the Ashbringer comic showed differently /shrug.
Also:
The Battle for Light's Hope Chapel plays out in N The Light of Dawn, the conclusion of the death knight introductory quest chain.
After wiping out the Scarlet Crusade at New Avalon and Havenshire, as well as the armies from Hearthglen and Tirisfal which came to assist the New Avalon forces, the Lich King orders the destruction of the Argent Dawn, the last remaining resistance of any size in the Plaguelands at Light's Hope Chapel.
Highlord Darion Mograine, wielding the , leads Orbaz Bloodbane, Koltira Deathweaver, Thassarian and a force of 10,000 Scourge against 300 Defenders of the Light and the Argent Dawn leadership located at Light's Hope.
The Scourge forces pound hard and take out an entire third of the Argent Dawn defense, but Mograine starts having problems attacking further defenders with the arrival of Tirion Fordring. Fordring's Light-given powers overpower and defeat Mograine, as well as immediately kill the Scourge forces in the immediate area, causing Orbaz Bloodbane to flee. Darion orders the remaining death knight forces to stand down while Fordring berates him for what he has done.
Suddenly The Ashbringer, Alexandros Mograine, appears. Darion, shocked at his father's arrival, becomes a shade of his past and relives the conversation he had with Alexandros when he decided to join the war against the Lich King.
As Alexandros says that one day Darion will wield the Ashbringer, the Lich King appears and banishes Alexandros to the abyss.
Darion comes back to himself, realizing the depths of his betrayal and attacks the Lich King who swats him away, knocking him out. Fordring, also surprised at the turn of events, comes forward in preparation to attack the Lich King. However, Fordring revealing himself is exactly what the Lich King had planned as he incapacitates Fordring in an attempt to kill him. Lord Maxwell Tyrosus calls in the order to attack and the remaining Defenders of the Light all charge in, followed shortly by the Argent Dawn leadership, all of whom are batted away and stunned in the process.
As the Lich King taunts his nigh-inevitable victory, releasing the spell on Fordring, Darion regains consciousness and throws the Corrupted Ashbringer to Fordring, then collapses again. Fordring realises he is holding a cleansed Ashbringer and charges toward the Lich King. Aware that even he stands little chance against the Ashbringer near the Chapel, the Lich King retreats, promising that the next time he meets Fordring, it will not be on holy ground.
The battle concluded, Fordring walks over to where Darion is lying and brings him back to consciousness. He laments the loss of souls on both sides of the conflict, and calls for a merger of the Argent Dawn and the Order of the Silver Hand. The new Argent Crusade will use their combined force to attack the Lich King, in tandem with the Knights of the Ebon Blade, freed death knights under Darion's leadership.

Wouldn't you say the same if you were a father? Since when humans have prophetic abilities?

When it's the soul of a person who had been sealed in the Corrupted version till Darion's self sacrifice set him free?

Wasn't it a flashback? Darion collapses and sees his younger self asking his father to let him fight the undead, to which Alexandros replies that one day Darion would wield the Ashbringer himself, but that day is not today.

It's still coming from the soul of his Father; the same lines were said in the Ashbringer comic.

I'll say nothing until I've read the comic myself. Still, I doubt that even Alexandros possesses premonition abilities - otherwise, how come he hadn't seen his own demise at the hands of his own son?

/sigh The Living Alexandros doesn't give the statements, the dead one does, the one that had been tied into the Ashbringer itself.

So, apparently the original Worgen were druids... Okay, I guess I can buy that, I think...
But how in the hell did they get stuck in Gilneas of all places? The druids didn't really take off as an order until after the Sundering (if Knaak is to be believed, anyway), and I don't remember hearing about any Night Elf expeditions to the Eastern Kingdoms until TFT.

Something to do with that Tree apparently....

But it says that
Tal'doren
was home to the Druids of the Scythe. If druidism wasn't a big thing until after the Sundering, and the Night Elves didn't visit the Eastern Kingdoms, how on earth did they get there?

Think we'll have to wait for the actual expansion for the full answer to that one.

Heretic is from 1993 :P lord zedd didn't showed up untill the second season of Power Rangers wich was premiered in 1995.
And Zedd's Japanese base was out before then lol; so it's either or lol.
Er...nvm, ignore my stupidity lol(what kind of Zedd fan am I anyways....)
erm, as I understood the japanese base for Power Rangers (Super sentai) has next to nothing in common with the american version, neither in plot, villians, or protagonists, the only thing in common with both is stock footage of the megazords, and some battlesequenses with some monsters.
I mean, check their article on Wikipedia:
"Rather than making an English dub or translation of the Japanese footage, Power Rangers programs consist of scenes featuring English-speaking actors (either from the United States, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand) spliced with scenes featuring either Japanese actors dubbed into English or the action scenes from the Super Sentai Series featuring the Rangers fighting monsters or the giant robot (Zord and Megazord) battles with English dubbing"
I mean, for example, the japanese base for "Power Rangers Turbo" was this one
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gekisou_Sentai_Carranger
in wich the cars were star constellations, and the villian wasn't the space pirate Divatox, but rather some other type of aliens.
as far as I know, Zedd was invented in the US (same with rita repulsa, and most of the main villians) and he was invented AFTER the videogame Heretic :P
(PS: yes I'm a power ranger/super sentai fan xD, when those premiered I was 16, but what can I say? I loved that show)
(PS2: I'm a fan of the OLD Power-rangers, as far as I'm concerned that show died after Time Force)

Rita is based off the Sentai villain as are most of the others(most of the fight scenes are just the Sentai versions after all). But yeah, that's why I added in the edit; of course Zedd is still awesome heh, too bad they had to tone him down as people found him too frightening.
