Valan or some other Draenei actually sounds like a nice cannadate, or perhaps a Blood Knight.
Velen can't use swords.
Why because he is a priest?
Last I checked, normal priests can Holy DPS. Valan isn't constrained to class mechanics.

Btw, it seems that Kil'jaeden was not the orcs first experience with demons...
Gray Candle Stub
Unless that candle was from after the formation of the First Horde, that is.
Edit: It seems Hargal was quite the badass, until he was apparently killed by his mate...
Maul of Stone Guard Mur'og

Probably been mentioned before, but it looks like we've got ourselves another Old God to kill:
N'Zoth, The Drowned God.
Can't help but wonder how this one will look.

Err, hate to sound all boring here but I'm not sure how much of that page is accurate... The only thing in it that's actually in the beta is Yogg-Saron's puzzlebox, and there's no source for the other stuff.

Most of it seems to be based on speculation from the Puzzle box itself.

Aye, I noticed a bit of a descrepency when I followed a
citation from the Old Gods page
. Bornnak seems to have "confirmed" the name of another Old God, but it appears that it is underneath Stonetalon Mountains and not under the ocean. However, I suppose that the whole thing is still up in the air.
However... If they do prove to be true, we might just see the
Stonetalon Peak Caverns
at last.

Well, the whole "whispers to Neltharion" part seems made up for instance, and the Nightmare Lord part is some heavy speculation as well... All we've been told is that he was involved, no?
The article is interesting and all but I'd take it with a pinch of salt until there's a source attached.
@Moreco: There is certainly something fishy going on under Stonetalon either way... The peak is overrun by tentacles and the sentinels and wildlife in the area have been corrupted.

That I fully agree with.

Aye, it does. But from the puzzle-box, it does seem that there is an old god in Maelstrom.

In all honesty, I don't think the Maelstrom itself will be involved in this expansion other than us using the portal there the first time we visit Deepholm. (you can't re-visit the place after that by the way)
It would seem pretty dumb to use Nazjatar now instead of waiting for Azshara's own expansion. (if she's getting one)

I'm still seeing all of the Naz'jatar rising up out of the ocean when Azshara finally makes her move, and wiping out the Maelstrom completely....plus, it's the way to create a 'new' continent for the expansion to be built around.

Would be cool if they used phasing for that. Like, we actually go down there at first, and seeing us down there Azshara casts a spell (or something) to take us, along with the entire Rift up to the surface again.
I see good things coming with phasing. It will let Blizzard do some great stuff.
