There are two types of To'vir. The stone skinned ones with wings; and the ones with fleshy skin (likely affected by the curse of flesh) that form a neutral faction named
Ramkahen
, this type of Tol'vir don't have wings and are the ones in the screenshot Adamsm posted.

Maybe, or the Val'kyr are only able to resurrect humans. I doubt the plague of the Forsaken can't kill other races apart for humans but the limitation is of the Val'kyrs. Even though, with a little bit of sacrifice, they can overcome that limitation.

I said that because of humans have Vykrul's heritage so and Val'kyr were given the power to judge and ress Vykrul by the Lich King.

Hm
, looking at their page... you have to wonder how many actual Val'kyr the Forsaken will have; the Alliance will be targeting them whenever they see them, and if female Vrykul are needed for more recruits... can't see them giving them up either, now that they don't serve the Lich King anymore.

Named there are 4 right now in-game and the Forsaken have a limited supply of them. As far as I know, they stay very close to Sylvanas and are only sent to mission were victory is certain or in the aftermaths to resurrect the dead corpse lying in the battlefield.

What Sylvanas seems to be doing is killing and using the Val'kyrs to resurrect the corpses as Forsaken, there aren't any living working for the Forsaken (at least no humans, only the other Horde races). It is weird because not every single Forsaken that is ressed is loyal to Sylvanas right away, in the two quests I know where you use a Val'kyr to rise Forsaken their reactions are very varied, some are shocked ("What have you done to me!") some are pleased ("I'm eternal... I'm death") and others are loyal to Sylvanas right away ("For the glory of the Dark Lady!")

She doesn't want living servants... there harder to control then dead ones. If any showed up at the Undercity, she'd slay them on sight and resurrect them as Forsaken.

Now that she has the means to do it obviously.

I suppose Sylvanas' resurrection required the sacrifice of the Val'kyrs was because she was a High Elf before dieing the first time or, maybe, because she was already an undead.

So I've made yet another Death Knight, and just picked up the quest
Brothers in Death
, and noticed this fun exchange between Orbaz Bloodbane and Thassarian:
Orbaz: Why do you care, Thassarian? His weakness led to his capture. Only the strong should survive. Not to mention....
Thassarian: What, Orbaz? That he's a blood elf? In life we were enemies - this is true... But in death... We are the children of the damned. The orphaned sons and daughters of the Scourge. In death we are brothers.
Orbaz: To hell with you, Thassarian.
Heh, is it any wonder why the two don't want to fight in the Western Plaguelands?Wish they'd fix the text though, as Koltira is a high elf after all heh.
