HA! that's quite ironic :P as back in War3, the night elves were my ultimate favorite race, (yes even more than the orcs, bear in mind that this was BEFORE their outrageous and absurd and insulting "Chickification" on wow, where they have become a mockery of what they used to be back in the third war)
in fact I was quite surprised when wow was announced that the night elves were part of the alliance, as I kinda saw more paralels between them and the horde (both being really feral races, and malfurion being so similar to Thrall in so many ways) and was even more surprised (and angry) to see the forsaken on the horde..... >.<
I knew they were gonna be a ballast from day 1, there to drag us down with them down to the spiral of infamy from wich the horde barely managed to get out at the end of War3.
...... sorry :S got deviated off-topic
/end-of-rant.
Cool model on malfurion, would like to know why he's suddenly having wings....... He's not trying to go all "one-wing-angel" on us, or is he? o_O

and yet, they were able to move past that when they defended the world tree togheter, besides, the warsong clan was hit hard after they killed cenarius (who is a demi-god, not a god :P) Thrall punished the ones responsible.
seeing as the very night elves also have criminals in their own society, it would had been kinda hipocritical of them to judge the orcs on the actions of a criminal element. (unless said criminal element gets away unpunished)
they just seem so out of place in the alliance, same as the blood elves really, blood elves fit more in the alliance, whereas the night elves fit more on the horde.
one being more prone to tech, magic, studies, shiny cities of stone, while the other being more feral, in touch with nature, living in (relatively) primitive homes, shunning tech, and magic.

But considering Tyrande, Shandris, Maiev and others... yeah, one battle does not erase the fact that fel-corrupted green skinned monsters just tore the Sentinel Army a new one and killed Cenarius, father of the Druid race, they reacted the ways you expect the Elves to react; why work with an enemy when you can go with those who have a better chance to be your friends. As for the Blood Elves... reverse there; Garithos and his Lordaeron Remnants tried to wipe out their race, why would they go back to any of the human kingdoms as allies? At least with the strange Forsaken, they still technically had one of their own as the leader of them; and Sylvanas wanted more power on the Kingdoms so they both worked.

He hasn't had much opportunity to shave though right? Y'know being lost in the dream and sealing nightmares makes for quite the afternoon shadow. It would take all of 3 seconds to cut off the green squirrels clinging to his nose.

aight question: I'm reading some things on druids and in one place of the article it says that
There is some evidence that there are or may have once been high elven, half-elven and blood elven druids. In the Warcraft II manual they are referred as Elven Druid, while the other sources do not give them a name.
but then in another part of the same article it says:
While the savagekin class is available to any Alliance race in the RPG, Druids and Druids of the Wild are only available to night elves and tauren.
so which is it? can they be druids or can't they?

I suppose the type of magic the Gilnean druids before become worgen is
arcane nature
. Seeing that humans have no link to the nature whatsoever I doubt they will be able to use real Nature magic, just arcane magic mimicking nature magic.

I thought there were suppose to be actual cat-like humanoids, as opposed to cat-lion hybrids all over the place heh.
