And Diplomacy?
Oh yeah, the Humans REEK of diplomacy...

Preception = Well, the Alliance scout and guard towers always had a larger range of sight than the Horde's, if I'm not mistaken. And when you think Alliance, you often think of Humans first.
Sword Spec = The Footmen have always used swords.
Mace Spec = I think this comes from Paladins in WC3
Every Man for Himself = I think this might have something to do with Genn Greymane breaking away from the Alliance post Second War.
Diplomacy = I think this relates to Stormwind sending out emissaries to the other Human Kingdoms, Dalaran, Quel'Thalas, Aerie Peak and Ironforge during the Second War.
The Human Spirit = This one seems kinda self-explanatory.

Hivolt, that got me thinking think i or someone else should make a thread about where all the racials come from?
That might be a good thing for Queggy to incorporate into the History of the Races thread as like a side-note or something like that.
I think it just seems a little too limited to be new thread worthy.

So... Let me show you some thing.
An item I found whilst looking for the pages for this.
Highlord Bol
var Fordragon
Highlord Bol
var Fordragon
?
But, if this does turn out to be Bolvar, does that mean that burning the bodies no longer stops ressurection?
Post by
Skreeran
Well, I think it's most likely that Lich King got Bolvar's body at some point after the dragons flew away but before Alexstrasza got there.

Dralas
Ooo, Bolvar looks in bad shape =/
Though he's still resisted the Lich King... maybe we just need to help 'break' him from his grip.

In special circumstances... sure.

Skreeran, he was still burnt, not called
Immolated
Champion for nothing.
Also, the cape? A drop?
Lets look at the name:
Bolvar's
Devotion
.
Devotion to resisting the Lich King?

Skreeran, he was still burnt, not called
Immolated
Champion for nothing.I know that. But not burnt enough to completely destroy his body. That would require the Lich King to have gotten him before he burned too badly, i.e., before Alexstrasza got there.
Also, the cape? A drop?
Lets look at the name:
Bolvar's
Devotion
.
Devotion to resisting the Lich King?Or just the fact that he was a paladin devoted to the Light and to the Throne.
I think the cloak is more of a memory than something we should read into.

Last I checked though, I think it was just regular dragons burning the blight, and not the queen herself Tauman. =/

No, Bolvar didn't bubble. But for all we know, a bunch of Gargoyle's grabbed the corpse/still-alive body of the Champion and took off with him before the Dragon's began burning the Blight clouds.

So, anyone else notice that Med'an is way too green to be only a quarter orc?
Post by
Adamsm
So is Garona to be half-orc.
Post by
Skreeran
Aye, but Garona could be explained as simply receiving more orc genes (explaining her lack of hooves, tail, and horns), but Med'an is only half-orc. He's got draenei face tentacles and green orc skin, but there's like no sign of him having any human ancestry. And there's more human in him than orc or draenei.
