They aren't actual half-breeds though. Draknoids are constructs created by the Flights to be used as heavy lifters and the like, while the Dragonspawn are lesser drakes, created by magic.
I know, that's why I stated that they aren't true half-breeds on my original post, but funden said that the races I mentioned dind't existed..
they do exist, but as u said first one is a construct and second ones are worshipers that evolve to half-dragons..........
Aye true... I'd like more lore to come out on the Draknoids, why they were created and the rest. The Dragonspawn it's fairly obvious, but I've never understood the need for the Draks.

My guide seems to have spawned quite the renewal of interest in creating races.

Aye it has... and because I'm crazy I'm reading through the
Varian thread
and really regretting it got locked... there was some good discussion all through there about things....

Meh, whenever I popped in to read it, I really only saw insults and censored profanity. Not that the latter is bad. :P
But I'm sure there were some nuggets of wisdom in there. I think all I did in that thread was point out little mistakes that people made and clarify certain points...

Heh, well, towards the end it descended into full out flaming; but the first part and the middle were good lol.

ok, here's one.
how many old gods are there?
so far I've heard 3 theories..
number 1 (AKA kanaak) says there's 3 of them, as he said so on the third book of war of the ancients.
Number 2: ( from the warcraft 3 manual) there are 5 old gods out there.
Number 3: ( I really don't know where this one came from.) that there are 4.
wowwiki's article really doen't add any source as to wich is true (or where did number 3 came from)
how many more old gods we're gonna have to pwn?

5 total on Azeroth: C'thun was 'killed', or at least smacked down into the sands of Silithus by the All-Father Titan. The thing in Darkshore with a Sword in it's back is a second Old God(possibly), and might possibly be the Nightmare as well. Three were imprisoned, those are the Knaak ones, and those were Yogg and the 2 un-named. I like how no one has really said just how Yogg got free from his own prison... and it seems weird to me that all three Prisons are connected, as it's implied in War of the Ancients they would all escape from the same portal.....

relating to this, is there going to be Old God influences in Uldum? has anything been said about that?
Edit: Typos

relating to this, is there going to be Old God influences in Uldum? has anything been said about that?Probably not; unless it's more of C'thun work. A few threads had a pattern being noticed, that the Old Gods seemed to form a star across Azeroth; more then likely the original two un-named are sealed away somewhere in Northern Eastern Kingdoms(either Trisfal Glades/Grim Batol or Zul'Aman) and other is in the Southern Kingdoms (Kara/ZG).

I remember hearing something about the Tirisfal Glade in the western glades holding an old god...

And I put in ZA because in the actual templed area, there's the worship of the Snake Goddess, who's either the Old One or an Avatar type like Hakkar.

Someone drew up a little thing that showed this star, it was very cool.
Where the presumed locations of the other old gods were.
Was very very cool.
can u link it? it really does sounds intresting and I'd love to see the shape of that star.......
