Where'd you get that quote, Adams, and what was their source? I have no idea what you guys are talking about... >.<

Over out of the Cataclysm forum, under the "Garrosh is the new warchief" thing.
As for why it's funny to me: according to nostradomus/the mayan calendar, the world, our world, will be destroyed in 2012, so someone jokingly saying that Cataclysm is set to be released in Dec of 2012, which is the month of death, is funny.

isn't
destroyed in 2012.
I mean, if the Mayans had stopped their calender 100 years later, people would think the world is going to end in another 100 years. If they had stopped a million years later, people would think the world was going to end in a million years. They had to stop sometime, right?
As for Nostradomus, he's so cryptic, you can make whatever you want out of what he says.

Oh I doubt it will be too, I just like that some wisearse figured out a way to tie in the warcraft cataclysm with the upcoming earth cataclysm heh.

I just want to have a little rant here.
With the upcoming Cataclysm and all, we will be seeing all of the Elemental Lords.
Now, my favourite is Neptulon, but the Abyssal Maw is going to be a 5-man instance, whereas the Firelands will be a raid. Neptulon is the strongest Elemental Lord, and it will hurt me to see him go down in a 5-man PUG, while Ragnaros will need
another
raid group.
Now that aside, I have had another thought the other day, I was wondering, what would happen if Stonewrought Dam were to break in the Cataclysm. The water would return the Wetlands to the drowned place it once was and what else?
Also, how did they build that dam in the first place?

Well, in dam building, the source of the water is rerouted and the area around where the dam would be built is drained, and the water from the drainage is often transported to another area. Then the dam is built, the water is routed back into the original path, and the reroutes are filled in.
The reason behind it was probably for expansionism by the Dwarves. They knew that the land there could be made into suitable farmland, probably due to some existing farms in the highland areas, and they built the dam to keep it all from flooding.

I really like the troll(awesome) and dwarf models, but the orc ones don't really sit well with me. The axe heads don't let them look natural enough... wooden spikes would have been a better choice, and maybe clan symbols instead of the Icon of Battle. Frostwolf for water, Burning Blade for fire, Blackrock for earth, and ummm Warsong? for air. On second thought, that might not be a very good idea.
I do think though that the feathers on the dwarf models definitely point to the Wildhammer Clan.

I think between Deathwing's bursting upward, Ragnaro's freeing himself from the Spire and Deepholme rising, the Loch Modan dam is going to blow heh.
And I love the new totems! But.... they already said they took the wussy and clean route and had the Dwarves learn shamanism from their friends, the Exiles.

As the Wrathgate, Varian and Garrosh have been done to death, just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this article are?

Well... the poster is right, but it remains to be seen whether two heroes of the Horde and the Alliance will be able to go into battle as equals again. There have been some
blue posts
on the idea of Garrosh leading the Horde, and I know the cryptic language that the blues use is often misleading, but it gives me some hope for the future.

and she wasn't sent by the horde, it was by the old gods, (wich now that I've brought it up, those same old gods made garona kill varian's father too)
Just found this looking back through the Varian thread, something rank said..... Garona did not kill Llane because of the Old Gods, that is just a mindf**k from Yogg, he had nothing to do with it as the Shadow Council put the spells and locks on her mind during her early childhood...... On Draenor. I really really really really wish Blizzard would never have put that scene into the Yogg fight, it has no point and it was idiotic because it screws with their lore.

I don't like his anti-Horde-ness, since the Horde is my favorite of the factions, but I like his passion. I don't think he's the best leader, but I like that he's a strong leader.

Aye, if Varian can finally get over his hatred, he has a chance to become as great as Bolvar and Terenas, which would be a good legacy.
(wow, code is "ubgay")
