Hello, mates.I am not really new to DK's at all,i mean i know their spells and I want to roll one.First, is the race.I think my choice is the blood elfs, dont know why, used to hate them for a reason, but on DK is different.Anyway direct to my questions.
1.For leveling, is it matter what spec are you?I mean, is there any difficults with leveling For Example Blood than Frost or etc.(Is there any spec that really sucks on leveling, and one doing very well with it)Or depends on your gaming style only ?
2.Blood DK's are doing well on heroics, but are they doing well in arenas, or unholy is better for doing any kind of arenas ?
I have read most of the stickies, and i am still not sure how to answer my questions.Any advices are always appreciated :)
1. Through Outland, you could tank 0/0/0 as long as your in frost presence. It may matter a little in northrend, as gear balances out. In northrend, if you want to tank go frost, because the 3% stamina that blood gives is doing almost nothing compared to the 3% avoidance and AOE threat is a lot easier. There are quite a few level/tank specs.
2. No, in high end arena there is like 1% DK's, maybe 0-.03% blood DK's.

DKs are great, you could do 0/0/0 and do fine until 80.
Unholy is the best PvP Arena spec, and there are lots of DK (but due to Shaman buffs to cleansing totem, DKs are dropping)

Blood is perfect for leveling because of the strong self-heals. They make chain pulls a lot easier.
Unholy is awesome for the +20% mounted speed. When leveling you will spend a LOT of time traveling and reducing that time will greatly reduce the time it takes to get to 80.
So just take both. Go unholy until you get 20% mounted speed and put the rest of the points in blood, gaining a strong DS for self healing and HS for group pulls. Just make sure you are at least 67 before you take the best of both worlds ;)
this
would be a nice spec, just fill up blood on your way to 80.
this
is how it would look like at lvl 80. It's actually not that far off from the cookie cutter blood raiding spec, you don't even need to respec to do appropriate damage in heroics.
Before 67 it's a matter of choice really. You can either spend the points in blood first, giving you HS right away but no mount speed. Or you spend the points in unholy first, giving you mounted speed right away but at the expensive of HS.

spell pen reduces the target's resistances to spells . ( druid buff gives resistance to spells for example.)
if you meant spellpower ... NEVER EVER WEAR ANYTHING / GEM SPELL POWER.
all your dmg comes from AP.
