i do think that it is a good idea to make the Ret aura abit more usful to all the type of paladins but not the raid.
i think it will out balance the auras, if we will take ur example of a tank using the ret aura for better TPS but now when it is affect the all raid the prot or holy will be ask to use the ret aura to buff the raid and there for will lose the use of their own aura (unless there is more then on pala in the raid group)
what i think should be the solution should be that the effect should only be triger to the all raid if the pala have improve Ret aura

a ret pally's ret aura already gives 3% haste to everyone and 3% increased damage
and prots are finally using devotion aura as they should be..well i see a few tanking with crusader aura but w/e
ret aura is intended to be a passive reflective damage shield and purposely overlooking talents which you'll have no question isn't a fair argument as they put it above and beyond the resist auras and right up in line with improved devotion and concentration auras

just give us old Soc? it give same effect as what your B is asking for....and we got 3% haste in ret
can't find this fair with 3 hit (melee,sealproc,ret aura) then we go back to old SoC + add another seal

Very few things that I read in forums make me laugh out loud. This is one of them. It's funny because its true. It's like whatever, screw it. Thats a thing that people are always going to do :P It's the simple mistake like forgetting righteous fury or starting a boss after a wipe and hitting judgement only to realize you forgot to use a seal before the fight, but less likely to cause a wipe so people are like screw it lol

The only change that ret aura needs is to proc off dodge/parry/full blocks. None of this shenanigans.

So when a Disc priest is casting Penance on the tank and an AoE interrupts 1/3 of the spell its not a big deal? Or when an Arcane mage casts missle barrage etc... Compare the Hps and Dps from those 2 examples and you just might get an equal +dps from my idea of Ret Aura.
Most healers/casters have some sort of a passive push-back mitigation from talents, that they pick up for other DPS increases. Also, unless I'm mistaken (and I've never had it happen to me), AoEs of any type do not push back spells. Only direct attacks from mobs will push back spells, and even in those situations, using an alternate aura is better for a Holy Paladin and their group.
Also, about this silencing thing you mentioned - No self respecting holy paladin would take Improved Concentration Aura for PvE. It only provides the silence mitigation talented. Untalented, the push back mitigation it offers is also minimal.

I'm satisfied with Auras right now, though I would like a
Chromatic Resistance Aura
While active, gives all party and raid members within a 40 yard radius an additional 120 Fire, Shadow, and Frost resistance.
Of course, Shadow/Fire/Frost Resistance Auras could be removed now,
or
, we could keep them, and give this one at the level cap, so it actually feels like an upgrade at the end. Below level X, you'd still have to pick one Aura.
Im still wating on
Cleansing Aura
All members within 40 yards of the paladin receive the Cleansing Aura, and will be cleansed of all aliments remedies by cleans every 1 second. Limited to 5 cleanses per second.
Fanaticism Aura
All members within 40 yards of the paladin receive the Fanaticism Aura, rendering each attack to return 8% of the attacks damage in health.

2% Healed by the old DK Blood Aura was too much for everyone.
We're totally gonna get 8%.
As for cleansing, we have a spell for Cleansing, on one target, once per GCD, for Mana. No way in hell we'd get your proposed idea.
Mine, however, isn't omgwtfbbq overpowered. Additionally, Shaman's could get a Chromatic Resistance Totem, to match us.
RLY I DID NOT KNOW THIS. DID YOU KNOW SPAM CLEANSING IS ALSO WTFBBQ ANNOYING AND NOT FUN? TRADEOFF IS NOT USING CONC AURA.

You guys are completly missing the point. The Ret haste and 3% dmg bonus are "improved talents" which work in any aura. This would work for the base affect of Ret aura and get rid of its old reflective dmg which is practically useless now.
I'm having trouble with the point of free reflective damage being useless?
It's not broken... so why fix it?
Plus it sounds a bit unbalanced at least in my opinion.
It's pretty much worthless for endgame pve, yes. But it is simply amazing for pvp. If it had an ability similar to enhancement shamans' lightning orb procs I think it'd work out well.
