Hi all was wondering what your total damage done was for a single round of dots.
Please test with UA, Huant, CoA, Corruption.
I dont use the other ones in pvp and just what to see where everyone is at.
Thanks to those that post.

You can find the spellpower coefficients here (how much of your spellpower each dot will get in damage). Using this and either your own SP stat or an average of 2000, you can estimate how much damage you'd get.

yeah it gotta be PvP. I know resil will varie and so will resists, but if some people could post some number that would be great.
I would post my warlock numbers but I'm not 80 yet so it wouldnt mean much.
I wondering about these numbers because I am getting tired of my hunter in pvp. He's good in pvp... well bgs, but once you get to the point where you can tell whats going to happen almost every fight it gets dull.
So I guess I'll tack on the question, who do you guys like your locks in bg's?

Jesus Christo! No wonder I want to play a lock after playing a hunter, which can't cleans dots. If a player cant cleans them no class can survive a full round of dots unless they can sit and eat... that just doesnt seem right... This is versus an equally geared player?

3.5k SP full Conc and some T9. anywhere from 60 - 80k depending on crits
lol @ trying to claim 3.5k sp in conq and t9. Unless we're talking raid buffed? Which doesn't make much sense considering practicality and usefulness of information to the OP.
edit:

add around 80 spellpower for glyph of life tap and another 100ish from the fel armor talent that doesn't show. I just threw together some conq/t9 stuff that isn't that hard to get access to, and was curious how you're getting 400 more spellpower than everyone else in similar gear.

So so far I am hearing that the numbers are 60-80k? This just can't be right on an equally geared player. Can it?

that's providing a FULL set of dots that run their entire course on someone with no magic resistance or resilience.. so no, it will almost never be that much.

I don't think the OP was asking for the absolute maximum possible damage you can do with a round of dots. He was trying to get an idea of what you do on average with a round of dots. The 50-60k I got on dummies was with no procs, no flasks, and only my GoLT and fel armor up, with my felhunter out for the little sp boost from the spirit he gives - all reasonable assumptions. I cast haunt ONCE after I put up UA/corr/CoA and that's it. I basically looked at the question practically; i.e., "how much damage can you consistently do with a full round of dots and a haunt?" you guys are completely minmaxing the situation, assuming trinket procs and whatnot. I don't think he's asking how much damage he can do with dots assuming the ideal trinkets and procs and flasks and raid buffs or whatever the hell you guys are including. Regardless, @ OP: don't expect the numbers these people are telling you to be typical. They are highly circumstantial and rely completely on lucky procs and/or 2 minute cooldowns, if you have the one on-use spellpower trinket that's worth using at 80.

Thank you to all that responded.
I think Olgamaster gets what I'm looking for but would have loved to see his numbers tested against a player in pvp gear.
I know I wont have the top of the line gear and I know those I face in bg's wont either, for the most part, so any feed back from any 80 player no matter their l33tness or lack there of would be very welcome.
