so, it is spoken that agility is better than ap and better than all.
but 1 agility gives 1 ap and 1/84%crit~0.5crit rating. if we get the orange gem that give 1ap and 1crit raiting it will be more valuable than 1ap and 0.5 crit rating. oO?

Ap if you are doing pvp. Ap if you dont have 4 piece tier 8.5. Only gem Agility if you have 4/5 tier 8 or 8.5.

Deadly Ametrine ---------------> 10 Agi + 10 crit = 10 AP + 0.12% crit + 0.22% crit =
10 AP + 0.34% crit
Wicked Ametrine --------------> 20 AP + 10 crit =
20 AP + 0.22% crit
Delicate Cardinal Ruby ------> 20 Agi =
20AP + 0.24% crit

Agility required for 1% crit = 83.33
Crit rating required for 1% crit = 45.91

Thanks Liquoid, it is clear.
But. if crit of agi=0.55 crit of CR then:
1agi Mut EP = 0.55*1.58(CR Mut EP) + 1(ap EP) = 1.869.
1.869 is not 1.97.

You are confusing crit % and crit rating in your calculation.

Not 100% true.
It's better to Gem Serilas with a Orange Rather than Red gem, due to the socket bonus. I think this is a unique occurrence.
That doesn't contradict his statement. Sometimes it's better to
use
an Orange gem instead of a Red, but the actual gems are still Red > Orange.
And for the record, you should gem most yellow sockets with Orange gems, until you're to the point of stacking ArP where you just rock Red in everything*.

ah, crit EP is crit%, not crit raing. 1% =1.58ep? 0.01%=1.58ep?
Agility required for 1% crit = 83.33
Crit rating required for 1% crit = 45.91
it means:
1agi = 1/83.3%crit
1CR=1/45.9%crit
then:
1agi=45.9/83.3CR=0.55CR

I must say, you have me confused. Not sure what you mean, but 1 crit
RATING
= 1.54 ep. Not 1% crit. If I misunderstood your first post, sorry for adding on to the mixup.

OK, so first post is right and 1agi=0.55CR + 1ap. SO 1agiEP= 0.55*crEP + 1*apEP= 1.869EP
added: i got it. a agility is BOKed while CR is not. 1agiEP = 0.55*0.58*1.1 + 1

Your point is?
The value of agility will vary from spec to spec - the whole idea of EP weights isn't supporting a universal value for a certain stat. It really does depend on your talents heavily.
Example - 51/13/7 has way more damage unmitigated by armor than 15/51/5, therefore ArP will be of a lesser value in 51/13/7.

You can't value agility as "crit rating+ap" considering that agility, ap and crit rating have different itemization values in stat budgeting.
