What pezz said.
But if you're doing dailies to afford your dual spec:
FCFS : HS > Judge > Exo > ShoR > Cons
Or just hitting whatever makes yellow numbers pop up (once again what pezz said), it's not like you're gonna die. Right?

This might not be obvious to people who are completely new to paladins (and are reading this guide because of that) but the rotation svirve posted there is for Prot specced paladins, and won't work for ret or holy.

Yea cause every prot paladin has
H
oly
S
hock. And every other ability is available to every paladin.

Ha. I thought HS was Holy Shield for some reason. I'm not sure why that spell occurred to me before Holy Shock did, or why I didn't question why you recommended that for killing random mobs. Also for whatever reason I read ShoR as HotR.
In my defense, our spell names are annoying.

Indeed they are.
Gets worse when you tell someone to combine DS+DS or to use DI during spamming parts of an encounter.
Never use HoS on the tank! Use FR aura for this encounter. HS is good for threat. Etc etc..

Wouldn't work. The glyph works off your base mana (which is only around 5k, meaning 400 mana back every judgement).
If it was your total mana, then maybe. I'm at 29k mana self buffed with kings right now, 8% is 2320 mana back per judgement. I dunno how that would compare to mana save on everything with Wisdom glyph.

You're replacing a vital cooldown, free 15% haste, two fantastic proc effects, one on HS and one on HL, a significant amount of spell power through talents, and last but not least
the most important spell you have
for... parry chance, a minute chance at instant casting a spell which, had you taken the proper talents, you could actually cast much faster over a period of time longer than 3 seconds, even assuming every FoL was an instant cast, which we both know is never, ever going to happen (instant casts are all well and good, but you're still restricted by the GCD, which a good talent build reduces but which yours does not), offensive power on a healer (lol), SoC based mana gains, which would probably be worse than the SoW glyph, especially considering how close you'd need to be to judge with your build, so you may as well be meleeing with SoW anyway, and increased mana regen, which any decently specced paladin who knew what he or she was doing would not even need in normals, heroics, and naxx.
Now to be fair, I realize that the points in deflection are probably filler, but that's a very bad choice of filler considering your options. For whatever reason, you've clearly decided you can heal and DPS at the same time, so why not pick up 2/3 Crusade to buff your insignificant damage an insignificant amount? Remember that while casting your parry chance drops to 0%, no matter what it normally is.
Do not use this build ever.

Sometimes its perfectly good to just skip the entire post and just read the last line. Then come to a conclution.

alright i kind of researched what i was talkin abuot a little bit and i was wondreing how this spec wuold look for leveling through wrath, heroics, and maybe some naxx?
For leveling:
Anything goes.
If you're confident you can do
X
role for a group, you'll likely be performing with the same damage/healing/tanking as anyone else, even people that are properly specialized for the role. If you think you need a "specialized specialization"
to level
you have overestimated exactly how "difficult" that job is.
Here's a multipurpose leveling spec.
You can tank, heal, and even DPS with it. You may notice if you clicked on that link that it's just a Retribution DPS spec. Here's a little guideline for selecting talents and glyphs while you're leveling: Grab stuff you can actually use first. Grab glyphs that affect your spells you currently have, grab talents that will help you remove downtime. Avoid talents that boost your Crit until you have talents that boost your movement speed. The bigger upgrade to your character will be the one that you get the "full result" out of sooner.
To heal? Equip some Intellect/SP gear and Flash of Light any damage you see. To tank? Put up Righteous Fury and mark targets for a kill order. Ask for CC, ask for buffs, don't be a jackass, and you'll have a good standing as a pick-up-group regular.
Grab intellect and spellpower
quest rewards
when the melee DPS option isn't an upgrade. Grab a shield and one-hander and keep your weaponskill up to date while you're grinding.
Build offsets for everything you think you can handle,
the basic spells you have will suit the basic job until you need to be a proper "tank" or "healer" to handle an instance. The point where that happens? Level 78; the home stretch; when you can enter dungeons and loot gear you can use at level 80 in heroics.
As for Naxx, are you flipping serious? With heroics granting you access to 226+ items and ToC runs, you're goddamn golden to start doing Ulduar within a week of hitting 80 if you're persistent. At this point, you can outright skip doing Naxx, Obsidian Sanctum, and Malygos and focus on getting decent gear
fast
. If you can manage to find a group for any of them, do it while you can. May be a learning experience. I don't know.

What Brique said, but for the love of God, if this is your first 80, please don't give the rest of the paladin world a bad name by power gearing in heroics and forcing your way into an Ulduar pug a week after you hit 80. It isn't a terribly challenging raid, all things considered, but I wouldn't recommend making it your first one. I see people geared for it who stand in the lava walls in OS 14 times in a kill.
Also I forgot to mention leveling in my post deconstructing everything I thought was wrong with that build, but go with what Brique said. A ret spec backed up with a change of gear sets and some skill will do fine for whatever you want it to while leveling.

I assume because you're using the FoL glyph and a sub ret build either they nerfed all the raids while I wasn't looking or you're doing content that isn't too terribly difficult so far. You probably won't need LoH every 11 minutes (including glyphed and two talent points) in that situation. Frankly, even in harder raids LoH is usually around when you need it. You spend those two talent points for a very very nice mitigation CD at the very moment you need it. But even in content where LoH isn't going to be as vital as it might be, I'd strongly recommend taking that point out of Divinity and finishing Imp. LoH. 2.5% extra healing and 2.5% extra overhealing is not going to help you as much as making one of your tank CDs twice as powerful.

Glad it was helpful and don't worry about the Rogues. Anyone who rolls a rogue has a death wish in the first place anyway. Man was not meant to generate that much aggro, have that little health, and stand that close to bad things.

I only have ot disagree on your opinion on the Holy Shock glyph... in these new fights players hp can drop in an instant so they need the extra heal NOW, and i rather cut out the extra 1 second than have a light bomb of HL which is nice but doesnt build up ur useful heals that much in most fights with range players.
I slap people who dont let me 2 tank heal and im still able to raid heal effectively as well :S
dont care much for Holy prot... i like my crit >_< ill save that for PvP 3s n 5s... Prot holy is still too viable to leave.

If your tanks are geared and your raid healers know what they're doing, you really shouldn't need an HS every 5 seconds. If your raid is getting along fine without you DSing then I guess it isn't a problem not sub-speccing into prot. I still feel like DS and some extra survivability for you trumps a few percent of crit though.
