? This is the Horde, not some pansy human realm. If Garrosh takes Thrall in a duel, Garrosh is the new Warchief.

By that definition, we're all ruled by forty random guys from Stormwind.

I got sick when I heard that Garrosh will be the new leader of the Horde. All he wants is wars,Thrall wanted to make a peaceful world.Garrosh wants some much glory that he will got to fight Deathwing alone and it will end deadly. You know what's the truth is?Garrosh brings the Horde to the disaster as more wars he will make against the Alliance the Alliance will start hating him and planing wars against him.Thrall is a guy who says "no" to wars.Garrosh is gonna kill Cairne at Cataclysm.Well since I am Alliance me and my 39 friends will come for him.If he wants to be alive he better stay away from the Alliance and the Horde leaders
could anyone make any sense of this with all the grammar errors. i swear its like a newborn or those Chinese gold farmers wrote this. seriously go back to english class.

does the leader of the horde affect changes to my stats? Will I get more purples with one or the other? Will one leader provide me with buffed talents or make changes to the damage mitigation coefficient?
I think not. Thus, I care not.
Well dont think anyone asked you anyway, but this is more concerned to the lore really and the lore alone(atleast used to be) is enough to love the warcraft universe...
Also Thrall is a NPC the horde especially kinda feels a bit proud of so when his position is threatened naturally someone would be a bit upset about it....

This is true. Thrall's the only leader I've ever seen staunchly defended in any of the city raids that I've done.
In a way, if MMO-Champion's sources were correct on the rest of what was reported - and I'm pretty sure that the 90% they were correct on is pretty good reason to think they are - Thrall's getting a promotion of sorts. The Guardians of Tirisfal are (or were - probably will be again) one of the more powerful organizations on Azeroth.

lol @ dictionary people who don't understand that words have more than one meaning.
lol @ person who doesn't understand context.
Some people are honestly pretty dense. Changing meanings on the fly is at the very backbone of comedy. I don't care what the OED says the first definition of a duel is, a joke is a joke. I've said it once, I'll say it again: lol @ the people who can't take a joke if it is directed at them.

I guess you're excused, then.

Changes like this are super sweet!
I'd actually prefer if they'd do the changes to one of the less busy cities like Silvermoon.

Garrosh would start wars and lets put it this way, the Horde would fall. Garrosh believes that Cairne Bloodhoof is a traitor and would kill him. Tauren are a major part of the Horde and if Garrosh is to break the bond that keeps them within the Horde allegiance. all hell would be loose.
Also, he'd kill Jaina Proudmoore, the one Human trying to make Bonds with the alliance and horde. Then the Alliance would be provoked, this is where the horde would be destroyied because Varian (losing another one of his comrades and loyal Friends) would send all his forces after Orgrimmar, (Mainly Garrosh) and *BOOM* everyone would be dead. Tauren possibly be recruited into the alliance by Tyrande due to the Tauren have no-one else to turn too.
