Worgen were humans stricken by a curse that found a way to retain their humanity, they sealed themselves behind the greymane wall and kept to themselves for fear of spreading their curse then the cataclysm upheaval shatters the wall, forsaken attack in retaliation of the sudden chaos and the abrupt appearance of what looks unmistakably like the mindless worgen that the undead have come to hate, then the night elves come to Gilneas thus reestablishing ties to the alliance....
1: they were part of the alliance before their curse
2: because of the forsaken's hatred toward the mindless bloodthirsty worgen they attacked residents of gilneas setting gilneas and the horde at odds
3: the night elves reestablished ties with them and by proxy the alliance

l2lore.
Genn Graymane, the ruler of Gilneas, created the Graymane Wall after the Second War, to keep Gilneas isolated. He also left the Alliance at that time, because "The Alliance needed Gilneas more than Gilneas needed the Alliance." They were NOT a part of the Alliance before their curse; they were merely Gilneans. NOT Alliance, because Gilneas left the Alliance before the 3rd War.

crap the ole /semantics card..."they were neutral or better with the alliance" how's that
He also left the Alliance at that time, because "The Alliance needed Gilneas more than Gilneas needed the Alliance.""because Gilneas left the Alliance before the 3rd War."
so...
1: they were part of the alliance before their curse
just depends on what time scale you're basing my statement on
a mountain becomes a boulder, the boulder becomes a stone, the stone becomes a pebble...still means the pebble used to be a mountain and gilneas used to be part of the alliance
a better argument would be when they were afflicted by the worgen curse which was actually after the construction and sealing of the greymane wall which was actually done so out of Greymane's arrogance and belief that other people's troubles didn't concern gilneas

Also, the Worgen are an alien race. Gilneas was affected by the Worgen, and Argual's experiments.
Look here.

I don't get why people say, "That won't fit the lore you NUB!" It is like saying, "That can't fit a made-up story that is constantly being added to." WTF? Lol. This, I think, will be the best expansion yet, by far.
(BTW: My random code generated was '*!@#s' -- LOL!)
