Both suggestion's worked when I tried them last week, although I Shift-clicked the abilites out of my spellbook, resulting in "Travel Form (Shapeshift)" Instead of "Travel Form" -- Try putting "Travel Form()" instead, I've heard spell that have parentheses confuse the macro system. (and "Tree of Life()")

No exclamations. This is correct. You might want the addition of "no stance" so if you are in human, it still puts you in tree or travel form, depending on what you want. This will not put you from human into a form(which is bad if you actually play resto, since you should be casting cyclone and offensive spells regularly).
Personally, if you use, as a base, 90% of the time, tree and travel form, bind them somewhere off your main numbers, and bind those bar positions to your navigation buttons on your mouse. It did me worlds of good for feral, making me have much, much less time stuck in caster when stunned and it also works as a powershifting macro while slowed.
Then it's a simple macro for each.
/cast !Travel form(shapeshift)
/cast !Tree Form(shapeshift)
