Cause you have to change in your interface options so that alt isn't the universal self-cast key.
Macros unfortunately dont override blizzard keybinds.

Still casts on myself even when alt is pressed =/
Sequence is bad. By the time it gets to the mod argument, it's already cast the spell on you.

Doesn't matter in which order you place the mods.
If you hold alt the mod:alt will be active even if you dont press the macro.
Turning off the universal self cast key or using another one than alt will solve the problem.

No, macros read in sequence. Once it has read an executable cast, it does so. Since the original command on the first macro was to cast the spell upon yourself, this takes priority over later instructions. Hence the reason for the nomod conditional to exist.
Another option would be:
/cast Spell; /cast Spell
or
/cast Spell

If thats the case. I forget you cant do a mod without it in sequence.

Ah right you are duns.
I forgot about nomod, though he would still have to unbind the universal self cast key from alt.
Atleast to my experience keybinds > macros.
