Laihendi: Link pl0x. I want to watch and see the whole story D:
I don't really feel bad for him right now, its not like the media wasn't any less rabid for Bush =p

That's a video of the event in question.
Only 3 and a half minutes long, so Laihendi recommends watching it.

I'm sure you'll love this, MyTie:

That mayor is (was) the mayor of the town my school is located. The students were largely canvassed in his support.
I read it, and shrugged.

Your right Laihendi on how it was blown out of proportion, he did try and establish he didn't know everything about the situation and he would be a little biased because they were friends. It still would have been better if he hadn't used the word "stupid" since thats what everyone is attacking him on.
Again I think everyone slipped up a little on this one.
Edit: Added two words, made the sentance flow more /GrammerNazi
What did the cop 'slip up' on?

I'm glad you finally agree with capitalism.

Yes, yes, yes, because this is a question of capitalism.

Agreeing that the mall owners can do what they like with thier mall is an acknowledgement of ownership, which is a wholly capitalistic thought.
You invited this, Skyfire. You know the question of whether or not the mall owner had the right to kick them out had nothing to do with the thought. It was really about the biases the mall owner had versus the practicality or even moral judgement they exercised.
You brought it on yourself.

Ownership isn't holistically capitalistic, and I'm quite challenged about how you would think so.
To put it clearly, one can have ownership without capitalism, but not capitalism without ownership. Perhaps this confused you?

Capitalism is an economic and social system in which trade, industry and the means of production (also known as capital) are privately controlled (either singly or jointly) and operated for a profit Capital is vendible, which means it can be owned, operated, and bought and sold for the purpose of generating profits for private owners, either singly or jointly.I have two points here:
1) The control of the mall was exercised privately. You reaffirmed that this was thier right. You are agreeing with the capitalistic system.
2) You bringing up thier right to kick out the kiosk is not under question, and wasn't in the first place. That was an attempt to go off topic from what was really the question, which is: "Was the decision, based on the evidence, likely to have come about due to biases. If it was, what does that say about the owners?
Either stay on topic, or get lampooned off topic.

If you privately own something, it's your right to do as you see with it.
That should be the end of it, this guy had to go running to the newspapers and make a big stink about it for no reason.
People find reasons to complain about everything.

You can't make tomato sauce without tomatos. I agree. But that isn't your point, just you going off topic further. Why don't you try answering the ORIGIONAL topic, and set a good example for me. I was really questioning thier hypocracy, not thier right to do so: Maybe they can get rid of those nasty conservative pro lifers and put in another X rated booth.

Since when is corruption in NJ news?
Shouldn't it be, though? The article did note that...

The U.S. really isn't that much of a melting pot, it's really more like a soup or a salad.
With bread sticks?
