I was in a group last night and one of the guys I had grouped with before is a healer. He has starting 80 gear just like me and we were doing a 5 man...poorly I might add.
The tank refused to mark and was just slamming into everything and WW that was it.
any way he was healing and keeping this guy up and went oom.
FLAMES and kicks him saying NO MP5 grow up moron.
The druid quit as soon as he was kicked.I quit and said nothing.
Couple of questions for my info does druid eq even have mp5?
Is it needed for druid healing?

Resto druids get their mana in these ways:
Directly from +mp5 stat.
Indirectly through Spirit and Intellect with
Intensity
.
On-demand with
Innervate
.
I would also like to point out that if your tank was using
Whirlwind
as you indicate, that means (as the tooltip states) that he was in
Berserker Stance
(Read that tooltip and realize that anyone who tanks continuously in this stance is... an idiot.)

Only a few pieces of resto equpiment has np5 on them.
From Emblems:
Bands of the Great Tree
Rainey's Chewed Boots
From Raids:
Headpiece of Fungal Bloom
Heroes' Dreamwalker Headpiece (Valorous too)
Unravelling Strands of Sanity

If a little voice in the back of your head says that a situation is stupid and had nothing to do with bad playing the part of member A and everything to do with straight incompetence on the part of member B, listen to it. It's probably right :).

I replied to this earlier and it seems to have disappeared.
Yep I am a noob but I knew the warrior is an idiot. Right after his flaming the druid I quit as well.
I didn't say anything to him but I sure wanted to.

There is nothing worse than a bad warrior tank. Most other classes get excused because DK's have 55 less levels in which they can group and learn to tank, druids and paladins potentially healed in groups. When you got a WW-ing tank ... that's just wrong.
I was in a group (as boomkin dps) with a terrible warrior. He could only tank 2 mobs. Needless to say, Gundrak is a terrible place to be in with a tank who can't aoe tank.
So after the healer died the second time before we reached the first boss, he just went off on the tank. Than he left. I knew that even if we got another healer, this tank wasn't going to be successful, so made an excuse about how late it is, and left.
I did actually heal a couple of times a paladin tank that was terrible as well. He wouldn't use consecrate, even thought I asked for it, and so every pull, I was kiting adds until he finished off the one he was tanking. I mean even without consecrate, paladin's main attack hits 3 targets, but he usually ended up with only 1 mob, and the rest were left for me to kite. (as a druid healer)
But anyway, healer running out of mana isn't a big deal as long as everyone's alive. Just means you gotta take a break and drink. But if he's running out of mana during pulls, it's either because the tank is terrible, that's what it sounds like, or the healer is spamming instant heals without letting them tick.
We had this problem once, when we asked feral druid to heal himself in the back of 4 horsemen of Naxx10. He respeced to tree, got an entire blue healing set (which is great for simply healing yourself), and just spammed the hell out of himself running out of mana. It was terrible, the other guy in the back ended up healing himself and this druid that was OOM within a minute.
