Yeah I downloaded his UI as well but don't have the knowledge needed to sift through the kgpanels.lua file for the correct scripts.
Post what you guys can get out of it so I can learn :D

How many panels would I need? I have three made. Kind of mirrors the ones in the link.
The first "condensed" panel that I click that doesn't show action bars.
The second that does show the bars. And the third is inside the second that can be clicked to go back to the first.
The scripting I won't be able to do on my own. I would end up needing someone else to write that up for me unfortunately >.>
And I don't know how to parent my action bars to the panels to hide when the panel does.

kgPanels:FetchFrame(name) is the script kgpanels lists for finding panels.
But yeah, it's hard to understand something like Lua to :P Reason I was gonna see if someone else could provide the code if I got the panels made.

I made two frames. One frame (Testing_Panel_Actions) that would be the frame that I clicked to open everything and hide itself.
I made the second frame (Testing_Frames_Actions_Open) that would the panel that opened up with my actions bars and would be clicked when I want to close them and open the first frame.
I put kgPanels:FetchFrame("Testing_Frames_Actions_Open"):Hide()
Into the first one and it closed the second one, so I went to go and change it and it's not there and now I can't click in the script window to type anything.
Clue as to why?

While what you showed me did work for making one panel disappear and the other panel appear, it wasn't exactly working the way I wanted it to. However I asked the author of the UI how he did it and he wrote up a little guide for me. lol
