I'm not gonna lie, warriors are lame until 60. Then they get better and better until you realize there's no other class, except maybe rogue, that offers such a personalized experience and playstyle. At high level with gear, there is nothing that compares. It's a love/hate thing though, and if you get to 70ish without realizing the capabilities than maybe you shouldn't do it. I would try leveling as prot and tanking dungeons for some added excitement, since arms/fury at low levels is boring and frustrating.

Everything everyone else has said. Just stick at it - it gets awesome.
Someone suggested levelling prot and tanking some dungeons for the entertainment - I totally agree. Hell, even if you don't tank instances, levelling prot is still a breeze. Charge in, aggro a bunch of mobs and watch them die on your shield. Spell reflect is hilarious :)
Yeah, you're still stopping for 30 secs to 'trade blows' but you're trading them with 2-5 mobs, so there's some time saved.
If you can find a buddy to level with (preferably someone who can heal) it just makes it so much less stressful. Particularly in finding groups to do instances with - tank/healer combo is 90% of the work done already. But for me that goes for levelling anything in general - much more fun with a buddy :)

Drink heavily.
By nature if being my first character back when everything in WoW was super exciting, I don't really have any tips. Get heirloom items and blow through it.
This man could not be any more right !
